It did not weight down my fine hair or make my hair greasy. I applied one pump to my damp hair after washing and it really helped with detangling. After blowing drying, my hair felt soft and was less frizzy than if I didn’t use any products. I applied another pump after my hair was completely dry to smooth it out and my hair still felt clean. I bought this because the Ouai site said it was scented after a specific perfume and I wanted to test the scent before buying the perfume. I like this oil for detangling and it doesn't way the hair down, however it doesn't exactly hydrate the hair. I personally like the smell but I know some other's don't. Its lightweight. Helps with shine immediately after putting it on, but if you want something to really nourish your hair I suggest using a leave in conditioner or serum instead. ... show more

I bought this oil because I really needed something to help me smooth out my frizzy and dry ends of my hair. I have bleached ends on my hair that get frizzy, brittle, dry and a lot of split ends. I have used this oil for a few days now and the results have been amazing! I've used it on both wet and dry hair and it works well either way. When I used it on dry hair, it smoothed away the frizz and left my hair looking shiny and feeling so soft! When I used it on my wet hair, I felt like it helped protect my hair from the heat of my blow dryer and my hair came out shiny and smooth.
