This is the second Otter screen protector I've had. The first one, after a couple years, seems to have gotten hit by something and spiderweb cracks went everywhere. But to be fair, I dropped this phone so many times and between the case and the screen protector, it has survived quite well. I guess it was just a matter of time. The enclosure they provide that mounts the phone and swings the new screen protector over, aligning pefectly with the phone, is really awesome. I only knocked it off a bit because there were a couple of very tiny bubbles or something that just would not squeegee out. But honestly you can't even see them unless the angle is just right. It is nice to know an added layer of security between the original phone screen and this screen.     • skimpy wipes, air bubbles, not worth the money
been an otterbox user for almost a decade, but his product is a disappointment. the applicator bracket is useless, and the dust wipe was dry out of the packet. The first go with one of these was after my initial screen protector broke. The first replacement protector did not work at all, and the wipe was dry as printer paper. The applicator bracket did not work as described for me at all. the corners near the top edge by the earpiece would never adhere properly, with air building up at the corners. This means it would catch against pocket fabric and other things, and was a nuisance at best. I even returned and decided to try another new one, and had the same issues even after supplementing the not-so-wet wipe with a bottle of 91% alcohol and some dust-free wipes. The glass was never exactly centered no matter what I did with the ridiculous applicator, and the glass would catch the plastic edges of the otterbox case, which would push the corners up. and air and dust would creep underneath. Having to reposition it causes even more airborne dust to get trapped underneath. I ended up replacing it with a generic $7 protector that was much easier to apply. ... show more

    • Not worth the money spent
I thought for the price I was paying I was going to get an OtterBox product. I followed all the instructions and I still have this weird circle on my phone. And I went through the instructions three times before installing. I know that OtterBox makes quality products and this product is quality. I am going to keep my screen protector for my phone but once I can replace it I will. I am not sure how much protection this "screen protector" can offer me with the poor quality but I will be happy to return to using LifeProof products in the future. I had an OtterBox in the past and it was quality but this is not. I am really worried about using this product and hope damage does not come to my phone because of this poor choice in purchases. I was surprised when it came with all the stuff it does for install. It is all for show though. What a rip-off. Giving it three stars is generous.
