As you may have already read, the symmetry series is designed for those who want to show off the beauty of their phones with a little padded protection from Otter Box. If I would have to put a protection level rating on it, I'd give it 50 - 60% rating, meaning that if your phone falls, u have a 40 - 50% chance that your phone could get damaged. In particular, your screen would be the one to suffer damages. And that's because the screen of the s7 is so vulnerable with this phone case on. I took a picture with the case on and phone face down to show how very little your screen is protected (raised) if it were to fall face down. To me, the clearance is too small and it gives me the chills just seeing how close the screen will get to the floor if it were to fall face down. I'm a big Otter fan and I would never buy the symmetry series but it doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it. I bought this case for my niece because this is what she wanted. It's a beauty. The colors are really bright, its sturdy and well made. As mentioned already, if you're looking at this case and it's reviews, it's because you've already decided you're willing to sacrifice some protection for the sake of showing off the s7 edge's beautiful screen (you're just looking for that extra little convincing for you to check out that cart). If you're ready for that, don't think twice, just buy it. It's better than no phone case at all and best part is... it's an Otter. Ps- we used the Armorsuit screen protector for Samsung Galaxy s7 edge, and yes it's compatible with the otterbox symmetry series. That screen protector is also compatible with the Otter box commuter series. The edges of the protector don't make contact with the case itself so there shouldn't be any lifting-from-the-edges issues there, as long as you make a good screen protector installation that is! I am extremely clumsy and I drop things all the time including my very expensive phone and this case protects it every time. Also I was looking for a case that would go on and off easily because i recieved a VR with my phone and this does just that.     • Why haven't you bought this case yet?
I am a clumsy person. I have dropped my S7 Edge in this case multiple times from at least 4ft high in some cases and it always comes out unharmed. I have dropped it on concrete and on tile (my previous phones arch nemesis), I've even kicked it off the tailgate of a truck and into the parking lot. It's fallen on it's edge, it's fallen on it's face. No scratches, no shattering. The only con is that it makes the edges of my ZAGG screen protector bubble and I'm constantly shoving the edge of that under the edge of the case. But since my phone screen is still in one piece, I can live with that. ... show more

Love the case, works perfectly with my wireless charger and also fits like a glove. Only complaint I have is the pink is a bit darker than pictured, it's more like a salmon color (I purchased the Boardwalk (Bahama Blue/Candy Pink) case) . I bought this phone case for the cute colors, but it doesn't do it's job, which I find very disappointing! I was expecting this phone to protect my case very well. This is my second Otterbox cell case. The first lasted about 3 years and then it ripped from a corner. My cell never got crack or anything. Good buy

I like this case. It fits well and is quite sturdy. I only dislike the colored area as it will show signs of discolorations easily.

This case is AMAZING!!! I literally just dropped my phone on to my porch it bounced and fell down a step and landed face down. I thought for sure my screen was going to be shattered but it was completely fine. I'll be purchasing more of this brand.
