I'm an Otterbox loyal fan. I'm historically a fan of the defender series, because it looks like it can take a lickin' and keep on kickin', and well, it has and does! I have had zero broken phone screens while using Otterbox products, and heaven knows my sons have tested the theory. I was hesitant to purchase this much smaller and more compact case, but I gave it a shot and purchased the sparkly case, which is not really my style, because it was cheapest and I thought if I didn't love it I could part with it and go back to the Defender case. Oh, let me tell you- I'm sold. The quality feels just as solid as a Defender with seriously half the weight and bulk. I'm able to use magnet accesseories which has been a long time coming, and I'm obsessed! Putting it on felt a tiny bit snug and I was worried it wouldn't fit, but when I got it on, I knew that it wasn't going anywhere! I purchased this case as someone who has used OtterBox cases since my first iPhone! This case having MagSafe was the main reason I got it, as I was willing to sacrifice extra protection for the convenience of charging by wirelessly. Coming from the defender series cases, it’s a bit of an adjustment but the case looks great and MagSafe works as advertised, and especially for the price I got it for! It’s one piece unlike my previous case so it’s a lot easier to clean. Luckily I haven’t dropped it yet so hopefully it provides the same level of protection in that regard. That being said, the case was pretty difficult to install as it was a super tight fit. I saw some previous reviews showing they cracked their back glass trying to put the case on. Luckily I was able to get it on with no cracked glass but I’m sure it left some scratches on the titanium edge. Additionally, it would be nice to have some sort of rubber anywhere on the back to prevent it from sliding on surfaces. This case is very nice. At first I had a really hard time putting it onto my phone and thought it just wasn't going to fit. But after working at it, I got all the corners on and just needed to press in the sides. It feels like a very secure case.
