EXCELLENT case! It paid for itself the 2nd day from a drop over over a foot. It landed on the corner and the worst was a scuff on the rubber (that was easily removed.) For phones this expensive, having a good case is important. Forget sleekness, how it looks (there are many colors) and material (it is comfortable in the hand). You want to protect that $1200+ investment. This case is the only one that isn't made of 40 pounds of metal that does that and doesn't detract from using the phone. You can still do all you can do without the case, but with the peace of mind that comes with a superior protection for the phone. It is painfully simple to install and it does not change how the phone functions, despite the large lip around to protect the screen (which I recommend a separate protector for that.) ... show more

The OtterBox Defender Series for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is everything I wanted in a rugged case. Installation is easy and secure, the buttons are perfectly aligned and feel firm and responsive, and the overall build screams durability. It does add some bulk and weight, but nothing overbearing, and the value for the money is excellent given the level of protection. My only drawback—and why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5—is that it’s not compatible with MagSafe-style accessories. Adhesive rings won’t stick well to the rubberized back, and the rubber around the camera can occasionally shift slightly. Neither issue affects the main purpose of the case, which is keeping your phone safe. If protection, quality, and value are your priorities, this is a top-tier choice. Just don’t count on it for MagSafe add-ons. ... show more

Ever since I got my first OtterBox phone case in 2017, I haven't been able to settle for any other case since. The OtterBox case for the Samsung S24 Ultra has been just as good as I've expected it to be. The one thing that I realized about OtterBox that I could never give up is the grip of the rubber. That traction in the hand makes a ton of difference. With a plastic case, you can hardly put the phone anywhere but flat down because if you try to lean it on anything, it'll just slide and fall off. I had to get rid of my plastic case when I realized how bad plastic sucked. With an OtterBox case, you can prop your phone up on anything, put it on the couch or your pants and it won't slide off at all. After about a year of having the phone case, I had to buy another OtterBox case because the rubber starts to loosen up and deform a little bit. Getting a new phone case makes it feel like a whole new phone again, almost. I love the new grip of a fresh phone case. Thank you OtterBox. ... show more

I had an Otterbox Commuter case before and the grip on it felt completely backwards. The slick plastic was the bottom half of the phone while the grippy textured silicone was the top half. It was a sturdy enough case, but turned out my friend and I had the same case in the same color. I was torn between getting the Defender case or the green Commuter. Ultimately decided on this lichen green Defenfer and have 0 regrets. The silicone grippy sleeve covers the entire outside of the phone, so I don't have any soft spots where im afraid of dropping it. Also, the 2-tone green colors is very neutral and perfect for me. Was a bit difficult to take off the outer sleeve at first, but after it was off, it was super easy to put on my phone. The functionality of it is also peak with the charging port cover actually closing all the way. ... show more
