Description

The resin ashtray mold is made of high-quality and durable food-grade silicone. Soft, wearable and flexible. The flexible silicone material makes it easy to demold without sticking and hard to tear. Molds release spray is recommended if you find it hard to demold. The resin silicone mold is perfect for making ashtray, coin holders, coasters, soap holders, etc. Use your imagination to create more resin crafts! General molding time is 8-24 hours(affected by mold thickness and temperature, molding time in low temperature maybe longer). If you want to add dried flowers in the ashtray, pour one layer of resin first and place the dried flowers at the position you want, wait untill the fist layer is cured, then pour the rest of resin to cover the flowers. Otherwise the flowers will float onto the top surface of resin. The square resin mold size is 98*98*32 mm. The round resin mold size is 110*110*28 mm. To fill the entire ashtray molds, you may need about 125 g of resin. Our silicone resin molds are suitable for casting resin, epoxy resin, but not for coating resin. Torch is not recommended to use as the flame will tear the silicone molds.

So happy with my purchase! I have used these molds a couple of times now and no issues. Easy to remove from mold and clean up is simple. I clean them with warm water then with a paper towel or cotton swab I clean molds with alcohol.

I love these molds. Durable, easy to o use and remove This is one purchase I'm happy about. If your looking for a resin molds I would definitely buy this one. So easy to use even if your a beginner. I give thes 2 molds a 10 plus. And yes you get 2. A square and a circle mold.

The square one has a better balance than the circular one does, and the circular one has a more wide and shallow dish than the square one does, but they're both exceptional products. I've got 5 uses out of each one and expect many more. 8oz harderner mixed with 8oz resin will fill both with resin left over, so I'd say each one is approx. 6oz. Decent amount of room to fit small trinkets and the sides hold mica powder well if you like a brush-on effect. EDIT: after 4 casts in the square one and 3 in the circular, I've decided that I'm not a huge fan of the circular one. The dish is too shallow and ash blows out of it fairly easy. The square one is still solid, there is a slight buldge on the side where the silicone is a little thinner than other sides, it's not super noticable but when you handle it and look at it from different angles you can see it slightly. I'll just have to create a support for it from here on out. They've still remained flexible after multiple unmoldings (I don't know the correct terminology). And they're still easy to clean and I recommend buying for the square one over the circular, but everyone has their own preferences. ... show more

The molds are great I’ve had no problem with removing epoxy resin from the mold , only problem is after some uses the square mold ends up losing shape and i have to place boxes or random containers around it to keep its shape.

Love it! This was my first time making anything with resin and the square mold was super easy to work with (didn’t try the circle one yet)! I didn’t have any issues with the resin getting stuck or the mold ripping, but I also made sure to clean and dry it before I used it because it came a little dusty out of the package. Just be gentle when using it and move slowly. :) Def recommend ... show more
