I had a similar one without the pop thing. It lasted me forever. I wanted to comment because I kept seeing that it’s flimsy. Trust me, the rubber ones like this are way better than the hard ones. If you want something durable for a low price, I highly recommend. I had a light pink one like this and the last year I stopped using tempered glass and my screen was never cracked. Although I still recommend a tempered glass just for extra protection. Sadly, I’m returning because I really want a sparkly one lol! I had a plain one like this since the day the 12 pro came out. I had this same case and it lasted me 1 year before it became loose fitting. So I purchased a new one and after a few days of using it, the pop socket came off and I can’t put it back. I tried returning it but it says returns not possible. So disappointed.

The phone case was nice and tight for about a month, and then started to stretch out. I bought it on Jan 4, and it is now April 3. The case is stretched out such that the phone does not stay in it any if you hold it upside down. The pop socket is tearing off. It is so loose that the buttons on the side can’t be pressed without adjusting the phone up or down in the case. In all, I don’t recommend this case. The pot-up feature for this case is a real plus. It allows holding the phone in a secure way. The pop-up also stands up the phone on a flat surface which I found very convenient. Material wise seems not as durable as other Otterbox case I had before but it is light which I prefer. Will see how long it will last. ... show more

    • Side Buttons Way Too Stiff

I needed a case with a pop socket and have always liked OtterBox, so I bought a different model about two years ago. The pop socket broke, and when I tried to reorder the same case it would’ve taken two weeks to arrive. I ordered this one instead for next-day delivery. It showed up a day late, but the case itself feels solid and I’m confident it’ll protect the phone. The downside is the buttons, you have to press really hard and hit the exact spot to turn the phone off or take a photo. My old OtterBox was much easier. I understand it’s new, but there’s been ample time to break it in. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend this model unless the stiff buttons don’t bother you. It does protect well and works with the pop socket, but the button issue is a dealbreaker for me. ... show more

The case is super flimsy and low quality — it definitely doesn’t offer any real protection for your phone. You might rely on the pop socket to keep from dropping it, but if you do drop it, that’s the end of the story.
