I don’t know what it is with this case/phone. I just upgraded to an iPhone 16 and in the six weeks I have had it I have broken three screen protectors and two camera protectors, all while this case has been on my phone. I had a Otterbox symmetry on my old phone, an iPhone 12 mini and never had any issues. But for some reason this case does not work for this model. If I hadn’t missed the return window I would have sent it back for a refund. I’m really glad I had the forethought to use a screen and camera protector or I’d be SOL. ... show more

For a case that I thought would be mostly for aesthetic purposes, it does a lot of things surprisingly well. It has a texture that gives it a nice grip without feeling sticky and trapping lint like most silicone cases. It’s not the most protective case from this brand, but it also doesn’t make me feel like I have a brick in my pocket as other OtterBox’s. The corners are still well padded along with the frame, which seems to be made out a softer silicone than the rest of the case. The front lip is tall enough to cover the screen just a little bit even with a screen protector in place. I wouldn’t count on this case to protect the screen by itself, but it does accommodate protectors well. Besides this, the case slips into place easily and doesn’t give me a hard time when I need to remove it. I also appreciate how flexible the button overlays are. They don’t make the buttons feel heavy or hard to press at all. There is also no audio muffling from this case since the speakers cutouts are pretty well aligned. ... show more
