This case is super protective. Color is nice, as pictured. I bought this particular one as a gift. But I have owned several. I’ve dropped my phone many times and thankfully, had no damage. It fits snuggly on the phone and gives some heft, so it’s not slippery. I’ve also wiped it down with alcohol to sanitize and it did not damage the case. The removal of the plastic case can bow challenging, so it’s not a great solution for someone who often removes their phone. And the bottom cover that hide the plug port, does not wear well, over time. Need to be gentle with it. Should also note that it does not support wireless charging in my car. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 16 Plus. My eight year-old iPhone 7 Plus is pristine because I have always kept it in an Otterbox Defender case; too bad Apple rendered it useless with software updates (but that's another story). Automatically bought this case for my new phone. It no longer comes with a holster, which I have always used, but they'll send you one for free if you request it on their web site. They needn't have bothered. As great as this case is (even though it no longer includes a screen protector), the holster is terrible. In all the years I carried the 7 Plus in its holster, I can't remember it ever popping out. This one does several times a day, and my phone falls to the ground. So far, no damage to the phone because the case itself is so good, but it's only a matter of time, especially considering how thin the bezel around the display is. I realize Otterbox has no control over Apple's goofy design decisions, like the way this phone is bristling with buttons they had to work around. But come on. Is this holster made by a completely different company? I'm disappointed to say the least, and I'm looking for an alternative. Interestingly enough, my iPhone 7 Plus Otterbox Defender holster seems to work better with this new phone than the one made for it. But if you don't use the holster, great case. ... show more

This is a perfect case...not too big and bulky, yet substantial enough to fully protect a $1000 dollar investment. Added with a screen protector, I feel like my phone is nearly impervious to almost any drop. Easy to install, claims it will allow wireless charging (I have not tried it), and provides protection to the expensive 16 Pro cameras on the back of the device. ... show more

I enjoy this case and have used it on all my other iPhones. I’ve found they’ve gotten easier to remove and install over the years which is great. They’ve increased protection around the camera this year compared to my last which is good. However, I do not like how there is not as much protection for the screen now (not raised on the sides). Also—as others have mentioned, the camera button cutout is poorly designed. Hurts my hand when I hold the phone, makes it feel unprotected, and could have easily been better. Good value for the money, and the design has stayed mostly consistent over the years, which is great—but the Camera cutout continues to be a disappointment and makes the case feel less protective. In my experience the case is functional and I use the anti slip capability a lot. However, in terms of its wireless charging performance, I have not had a great experience. I am unable to get a very fast charge from a MagSafe charger and the case gets hotter than I’d like. However, I’m very happy with the magnetic grip, it’s very strong and better than I expected. Disappointed they removed the plastic belt clip but you can still get it for free luckily with a provided in the box code. Overall, great case as always. ... show more

This is a solid case. Totally worth it. I had the pelican equivalent case to this and it broke in two pocket drops. Plus for pelican is the phone was safe, but I wish it would last longer. Stoked to see how this case will endure.

Great strong solid case. Bought it for the high protection rating. Peace of mind for simple everyday use. Also looks nice on phone. And actually the cutout part is helpful and seems fine (and is Kinda handy for holding phone lol.) Tho the cover has good grippiness too it. fits in pocket ok, and won’t slide out like many phone cases. My last one for different phone lasted years. ... show more
