I have used the "traditional" Defender cases for my last couple of phones, and I've always appreciated the feeling that my phone was bulletproof. Yes, the cases were big and bulky, but I've dropped my phones hundreds of times without any problem. I was perfectly willing to make that tradeoff. This was my first foray into a Magsafe Defender case. If you're coming from a regular Defender case, the first thing you notice is that the material is plastic vs rubber. It's also not as big and bulky. It "feels" less protective, but it is still highly rated, and it actually feels good. Not having that extra bulk of a traditional Defender case is something that I have come to enjoy. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a big phone, and I was worried about whether it would stay on the angled Magsafe charger. It does. Perfectly. Part of that may be a function of the charger itself, but the magnets inside this case certainly help. Charging is fine through the case. No issue. This case is pretty much the best you can get if you want maximum protection but still want to use wireless charging. Only downside is the high cost, but that's always been an issue with Otterbox cases. ... show more

I trade cheaper no-name brands and while some of them were ok, they all lacked the quality of the Otterbox. I picked up a cheaper waterproof case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and initially I thought it would work just fine. However, after a few days of use, 2 problems popped up that had me searching for a replacement. One of those issues was people complaining about hearing me unless I held the phone in a certain position. The other was the covering over the camera lens pretty much stayed cloudy or had a film over it, forcing me to wipe the lens covers off before every use. The Otterbox doesn't have either issue. The covering over the lenses seems like a good idea but in practice just isn't. I've opened previous versions of this phone case and was worried about bulk, but this case provides excellent protection while not adding much bulk at all. It's easy to hold and the phone looks great in it, unlike with the case this one replaced. You get what you pay for; while the Otterbox is more expensive, it's definitely worth it. ... show more

Overall I like this, including the belt clip, although I had to purchase that separately. Only thing that I wish was different was the back - it's hard plastic, so it's a bit slippery. The edges are rubber so still pretty easy to hold, but my last case was an Otterbox defender that was all rubber including the back which I like better. But one thing about this that is better than my old defender case is that it is thinner, yet still seems to give great protection. Overall I like it and would purchase again. ... show more

Great protection, it’s light weight and it’s slim I’m a small women and I have small pockets so when I decided to get the 15 pro max I was worried about the phone fitting in my back pocket but with this case I have no problem at all putting it in my back pocket. This is the best case you can get that is MagSafe compatible. My wife has the larger thicker otter box case, but it is too thick to be compatible with wireless charging. I went for this because I have a 20 month old who will pick up my phone and try to bring it to me, but stops things a lot. I recommend as teen protector that comes with a clear cover for the lenses on the back of the phone for total protection. ... show more
