I like everything about this case. It's easy to hold. My phone feels very protective in this case plus I use a tempered glass. So far the case still looks brand new and I have dropped my phone a few times. The silent button is also easy enough to get to and the buttons feel nice. It even provides a lip above the display even with a tempered glass on. I wish it came up a littler higher above the back Camara bump though. Not much lip protection there. But yes I do like and recommend this case even though it is a bit pricey. I’m sure you can get just as good protection or maybe even better with cheaper brands but if you do spring for this case I think you’ll like it. Update: Just dropped my phone down 13 wooden steps and the phone is still perfect. The case got a little dirt on it but I wiped it off and the case still looks new. Great protective case. I also use a tempered glass. I would suggest that to everyone. Use a tempered glass. They really work. And paired with this case your phone will be very protected. ... show more

Lasts a long time, but not forever. I just repurchased the same case I had originally on my iPhone as it lasted this long- and endured many. Many drops. It fit tight and gripped well until the case wore out, at which point I noticed the discoloration but it was too late. I dropped the phone one too many times and oops. That’s okay. This case has lasted 3 years until the MagSafe stopped working all of a sudden! You definitely get your money’s worth and it has saved my phone multiple times when I’ve dropped it. I ordered the glitter case and it has a yellow tint on the sides that I’m not a fan of but will deal with it.

Had a few close calls with my Case Logic case, as much as I liked it. One involving chipping the protective glass, and another with scratching the metal band around the iPhone. This case keeps the phone so secure, I doubt I will have the same issues. Side buttons are fantastic, as well. The protection around the camera lenses is good. I even took off my lens protection glass over each lens. I stopped buying cheap no name cases on Amazon. Stick with the big well known names. You wont regret it, especially with a good looking case like this one. ... show more

Summary: PROS: Slim design, feels nice in my hand, easy to put on/off, adequate protection NEUTRAL: A little slick/slippery (but I prefer that over a little "sticky") CONS: Durability, cost The good... The protection it offers is fine. I've dropped my phone from medium heights (as I was getting out of the car, falling out of my pocket, etc.) and it's protected my phone from damage adequately. It's not a "lifeproof" case, but if you're a responsible phone owner, it's fine. The "box" around the cameras on the back protects the lenses as-is, but if you try to also put a lens cover on it, they likely won't fit or will stick out past the protection of the case. It's easy to put the case on and off of your phone. The slimmer design fits nicely in my hand and is not bulky in my pocket. Neutral... It's a little slick. I don't mind it, but I could see where it would be a problem. The plastic backing is hard, so it slides on smooth surfaces easily. But I'd prefer that over something that is more "sticky" and prone to collect dirt/dust/grime. The bad... It has survived 1 yr 7 months of responsible use before it just started falling apart. And I'm not saying it was beat up. I'm saying the glue that holds the rubber edge to the back of the case just... gave up. Out of the blue. The rubber edge started separating/peeling away from the back, so now my case is in 2 pieces. I'm not hard on the case (I don't drop it often, I keep it in my pants pocket, etc.), but it just started falling apart. The warranty (directly through OtterBox) process was fairly painless, but you're going to have to pay the $10 shipping charge. They were out of stock of the color I originally bought (odd, because it's just plain black), but they let me pick another color. I didn't have to talk to any robot or customer service rep for this -- it was painless. I wasn't happy about the $10 shipping charge, but I figured that was cheaper than a new case (from OtterBox or any other brand), so I paid it. Finally, the cost comparable to value. It's cheaper now because my iPhone 14 Pro is "old" (currently Aug 2024 at the time of this review), but when I bought it, it was $50. For a minimalist design, that's pretty expensive for something that ended up just falling part under pretty normal (ideal?) conditions. ... show more
