    • Very good and looking forward to the protection
First of all: I LOVE the Defender. My only issue is this: a few reviews mentioned about screen protectors that may be pushed out of place, thereby taking in air bubbles specifically in the corners, which was noticeable. Maybe it’s because I inserted the screen protector first and then the case. I have no idea. I didn’t want to bother taking out the protector and having to do it again. Hopefully next time, I’ll just add the protector while the case is on. And if it works better, then I’ll update. Anyway, I gave this four stars because of the aforementioned issue. Also, I noticed that it’s a bit of a challenge to insert the case, but it’s supposed to be since I’d want to keep the elements out and I’d want the case to hold my phone firmly in case of drops. And I f I dropped it while it’s loose, I’d imagine the phone inside not having the full protection. I ordered the Defender because I had an iPhone 11 and, my goodness, I never knew how lucky and blessed I was when my phone was dropped so many times. It also had a screen protector. I must’ve dropped the phone over 20-30 times, with three hard falls. My nickname is “butterfingers” because I tend to drop things. When I traded in my iPhone 11 for the newer one, the 11 looked so good after a bit of cleaning. I didn’t find a scratch. It was in immaculate condition that I got a full trade-in value to cover the down payment of my new phone. Thank goodness for the Defender. Update 8/12/2023: I took the privacy screen protector off my phone because it was too dark to see. So, once I got another screen protector, I went ahead and placed it on the phone that already has the Defender case on. Truth be told, it looks and holds the screen MUCH better. No air bubbles at the corners. The case acted as an applicator to make sure that the screen protector is inserted perfectly and level. Glad to have fixed this!     • Bulky, but keeps phone flawless!
I've used this for a year and my phone is still intact after several drops. Great grip and simple design. It makes the phone a lot bigger, but the protection is worth the bulk.

    • GET THIS CASE IF WANT YOUR PHONE TO LAST!
I have used this case for over a year now and definitely needed to come back to write a review. I am extremely clumsy and have butterfingers to where my phone just flies out my hand, falls out of my lap when I get out the car, or carrying too many items at once and my phone falls face flat onto concrete. Trust me when I say I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve dropped my phone and this case has taken a BEATING. My phone has landed on every corner even flat onto the floor and still managed to come out SCRATCH FREE/DENT FREE. I’ve seen many reviews of how it’s difficult to put on and off but I don’t really seem to have a problem with that. I actually think it gets easier to remove as time goes on. Dirt and debris does get trapped under the clear frame but again, that isn’t an issue for me as someone who cleans their phone daily and then a deep clean of the entire case every couple of months or so. Please please please do yourself a favor and get this case if you’re a clutz and care about your phone. No electronic device has ever survived with me until now 😂 ... show more

Can’t go wrong with this case. I’ve had a defender case on my iPhone since the 3GS. At one point I used a commuter case and in no time my phone screen broke with just a small drop. I’ve dropped phones in a defender case more times than I can remember and the phones still get turned in when upgrading looking brand new, even an Apple Store employee was surprised by the excellent condition. I will admit the frame is a pain to install at first, but worth the protection. The flexible rubber that covers the charging port will break off if you aren’t using a wireless charger on a regular basis. Tho this will take time to happen. I love the hard back of this case. The other defender case that has a silicone skin that wraps around the hard shell will slowly become loose over time. I had to replace my wife’s phone with this xt case because of that issue, plus she needed a MagSafe case. ... show more

I bought this case back in August of this year, I bought it used, yes it did have some minor scratches, but in the end I'd rather pay $17 over paying $30-$40 brand new and ended with scratches on it months later, especially with the type of work I do! (Construction) But with everything being said it's very sturdy, durable and comfortable to hold. Yes, it is a little hard to get on and off to clean, but you get used to it. And believe me, for someone who has bought different cases and tried other styles, I always end up putting this case back on because of the comfort and disability of it. Plus I bout a magsafe pop socket pill I can take off whenever I don't need to use it. ☺️ ... show more
