I ordered this case based on the clear with glitter design as my new phone is light blue and I wanted to be able to see that color come through. The case does the trick! This is a slippery case though, it is not rubberized like many of the Otterbox skins are. Also it’s one single piece, so I’m not sure of the protection value. Otterbox used to have really protective cases, but they seem to have diversified into thinner, more attractive/less bulky cases, which aren't as protective. My daughter was using a minimalist case but her screen got really smashed up. This has a lip which will provide a bit more protection, though it's definitely not as protective as the cases that OtterBox made their name on. ... show more

I purchased this item (clear/glitter) and without using it the product has turned YELLOW. What a piece of garbage. Because it is over 2 months since I purchased this I cannot get a refund or make a claim. When you go to the Otterbox page they don't even carry this series anymore. So cute and durable. My phone has never cracked with an otterbox. The sparkles aren’t very obvious but they’re cute. It does turn yellow and gross after a while since it is a clear phone case.
