I recently bought this because my old one was super worn down and the corners were cracking because I dropped it a million times. This case is genuinely the best phone case I have ever used. My phone hasn't cracked and I had my original case for a good 2-3 years and just replaced it because I literally don't trust any other case lol. Like I said i'm someone who unfortunately is clumsy and I seem to always drop my phone or knock it off of tables etc. and this case is super snug and has raised edges which protects it very well. Be careful removing the case though if you need to for some reason, because it is so snug you might crack the hard plastic back if you don't make sure to get all the corners off first and slowly remove it Great design, only thing is if you don't like how clear cases turn brown after quite some use, I would recommend getting a case that is not clear. It is guaranteed to happen with basically any clear case unless its cheap hard plastic which wont even protect your phone. If you like your clear cases like me, this is the one to go with! Used for 1 year so far, offers great protection. It will definitely protect in a drop, so gets full satisfaction for that. The “upper” layer that goes around the sides will yellow over time but it’s not incredibly noticeable; the back remains clear with no yellowing. The side buttons area warp a little over time with use I suppose, but still protecting at 1 year and doesn’t seem in danger off slipping off, would purchase again. ... show more

You can trust OtterBox if you want your phone protected. Simply put, they have the money for good R&D and quality materials. I bought a Symmetry Series Clear case as soon as I got my new iPhone 13 mini. I normally don't drop my phone, but so far in 2023, I've dropped my phone more than I have in 5 years. And, each time I've picked it up expecting the worse....but Otterbox came through! I know people mentioned the clear case takes on a yellow tint over time. I don't have my phone out in the sun a lot, but typically sun exposure can cause the discoloration (I think). I also use 70% rubbing alcohol to clean it after grimy days and after workouts. Initially in good shape and worked well. Yellowish rather than true clear. Easy to get on and off phone. Started to come apart after a few months so had to get a different case. Not the best value sadly.

My first clear Otterbox case was still going strong but had yellowed over its more than two years of service, so I treated myself to a new one. It provides protection for my phone - especially as it prevents the sleek, skinny thing from escaping out of my back pocket. The old case came off without much of a fight, and the new one snapped on.
