I have dropped my phone many times and this case protects it very well. Con: My only con is that this case does not allow the phone to breathe much. I had my last Otterbox for the entire life of my phone. It held up beautifully for something like 7 years, so when I finally upgraded this past May, there was no question which case I would buy for the new phone. Literally 6 months later to the day, I was leaving work tonight and noticed that the bottom seam was coming apart. I am obnoxiously careful with my phones, and mine spends most of its time either nestled inside my purse or languishing peacefully on a table or desk. So this isn’t a result of abuse or heavy wear.
