This case is much better than my last Otterbox because it has some grip/tack to it making it easier to grab and prob up on surfaces without sliding. I can’t say enough about otter box! We hav literally driven over a phone twice over gravel (once it fell off the top of the car with the coffee, then we backed over to find it after it fell) and kid you not, not even a scratch. I mean the case was knarly but the phone was fine! We’ve dropped phones into pools, at the beach into the water, down the stairs, we are not good with our phones and we have yet to do something that goes through the otter box defender case plus glass protector. ... show more

This makes the second Otter Box case I have purchased for my husband’s IPhone. He loves the case and the protection it offers for the phone, however the clip that holds it to his pants is not very durable!! So be prepared to have to replace the whole case bc of the clip. From other reviews I’ve read, this is common and hopefully, Otterbox will get this fixed!! The box itself is easily installed on the phone and works well; maybe a little overpriced considering the clip issue, but we haven’t found any better protection for his phone. ... show more
