After dropping my phone and cracking (and replacing) the screen, I knew I needed a better phone case. The screen repair tech recommended this one. I got purple (my favorite color) and even my teenage son complimented it. Yes, it adds some size and weight, but it’s worth it. All the buttons and ports still work well. The only negative is it was difficult at first to figure out how to put the case on the phone. I finally noticed a small sheet with pictoral instructions showing it needed to be disassembled into three layers, phone added, then reassembled, but the pictures weren’t detailed enough to explain how to get the layers apart.     • Gotta have my OtterBox Defender!

This is my fourth or fifth OtterBox Defender. Started on a couple of Samsung's and then iPhones. Works great on all of them. I prefer the Defender over the other model. The difference is, Defender has an inner hard plastic case that snaps over your phone then a rubber skin that goes on top of that. I have dropped phones and they just bounce all over. The other model is rubber on the phone then plastic on top of that, which doesn't make sense to me. The hole for the camera lenses is big enough you can put those aftermarket glass screen protector on the lenses and it doesnt interfere with the case (iphone 13/14) ... show more

I can not type LOUD ENOUGH about how awesome the otter box defender case is. This is my 3 Defender case. I am so, positively awful at caring for my phone. My ADD means it gets left in precarious places all the time. It gets dropped all the time, every day, yet my phone is so well protected. I left it too close to the stove, one corner of the case melted from the heat before I realized it but no damage to my phone. I dropped it in the street and it got ran over by a car. Case broke and I did have to replace the screen but phone as a whole is fine and usable after new screen (and immediately purchased new case)! I won’t promise the case will last forever but it will keep you phone from taking the hits instead! ... show more

I don’t know the physics but I feel like my phone is well protected. Screen protector fits fine within the borders. The same texture that keeps it from sliding around also pulls my pocket inside out fairly often, which I’m fine with. This OtterBox case is very high quality. I love the silicone backing and the grip it gives on the phone for your hands. The colors are very nice and everything fit snug. This case gives my phone a rounded feeling which I prefer rather than a boxy one but that’s just preference. Only issue is I had a screen protector on my phone from previous and it popped some of the corners of the glass up so there’s a few bubbles but that could be something on my end. No problem with product, per se and seller is good here does say case only belt clip holster not included. However, product information section says included components belt clip. Tried to correct product information on Amazon but the link did not seem to work. Also, beware that the OtterBox video shows the belt clip or holster component. Would have rated five star , the only reason for four are the sources of confusion which is either Amazon and or Otterbox’s issue. Still a pretty good price as a local seller near me wanted $65 for the cover plus holster. ... show more
