Not sure why it’s so hard to find a case that isn’t all rubber/latex (ugh!) or all plastic than can easily slide off some surfaces & slip out of your hand. Used to get Speck cases that had rubberized grips but that now just seem to be all plastic grips. This Otter doesn’t slip but more bulky thank my old Specks & wish the Otter had some better colors/contrast in this model if it’s the only thing I’m going to be ok with. Dropped the first one at least 50 plus times and no damage whatsoever to the phone. However the tiny plug cover which I open and close about 30 plus times a day eventually broke off after a year or do. So I reordered . Extremely happy with product; my phone looks like new, so trade in value should be higher. A little bulky but that is why it protects so well. ... show more

Perfect fit. nice case. I do wish it had plastic over the screen like the old Otter boxes but I know some people hated that. For construction and wood working the plastic fully enclosed the screen and kept dust and dirt out of the case. Time will tell how well it protects with an open front. It does fit perfectly (which the old cases for older phones didn't) so maybe that alone will be sufficient to keep out dirt. I did buy (separately) a glass screen protector, since this case doesn't protect the screen at all. I kinda also wish it had a cut-out circle to show the Apple logo on the back of the phone—but that's just a vanity aesthetic and not important really. I would like to try to wireless inductive charging with the case on, haven't tried it yet—hopefully that works. ... show more

It was as advertised, the actual OEM OTTERBOX that was being offered for sale of course where I paid less than half the price the OEM was asking for on their own web site !! Was this a good deal, you better believe it.
