The name OtterBox speaks for itself with a very long well known history of being one of if not the best protective case you can put on your device. The only real problem is knowing whether you are going to get an actual genuine authentic OtterBox or some crappy generic one with the OtterBox name falsely stamped into it. As with every other well know excellent product you can buy there are always hundreds of other sellers eager to clone them and rip you off. This is definitely not the case here. (Pun intended) I remember not long ago when you wanted an OtterBox you paid anywhere from $60 - $100. If you paid any less you were almost guaranteed to get a clone. This is a legitimate, authentic OtterBox for $28 and free one day prime shipping. It fits my phone with perfect accuracy and feels amazing in the hand. It's not bulky at all nor is it heavy and the amount of protection it offers with the padding lined throughout the inside of the case, the way the camera and screen are recessed just the right amount to protect both in the event of someone accidentally dropping it. Then if that wasn't enough it is covered with a very comfortable feeling outer rubber sleeve to help absorb the shock if you did drop it. Short of throwing your phone down, screen first in a pile of gravel I don't see anything damaging my phone with this case on it. Sorry for the book of a review but I'm very impressed and wanted to pass my excitement and surprise onto anyone else considering this purchase unaware of just how awesome OtterBox really is. ... show more

I am income with this phone case! I am a clutts when it comes to not dropping my phone. This case is solid and doesn't even scratch when I drop my phone on a pavement. The case is simple and not necessarily the prettiest, however, it does serve the purpose well of protecting. It is slightly bulky because it has somewhat of a double layer and once you put on the case, it is hard to take off. It also comes with a phone clip if your into that. I see how it can be convenient but just not my thing. Overall, this case is stable and does an awesome job at protecting my phone. I don't think I would use any other brand for phone protecting. I've taken this case on and off my phone more than most people because I play FPS games in my free time and use triggers, and they won't fit around the case. The tabs are sturdy to hold it together because I took it apart over 100 times before they wouldn't hold it together anymore and I had to order a new case. The overall durability is stellar as well, I've dropped my phone many times and the only issue was edge of the screen has a dead spot now, but that's not the fault of this case. ... show more

I dropped my phone and it hit face down on my hardwood floor and gave up the ghost. When I got my replacement I was looking for a sturdy holder that would have prevented the previous mishap. The instructions could be a little better if they would have included actual words and not just pictures but once you understand the process it goes together very easily. Seems very rugged and durable. Make sure you get some sort of screen protector for the front and the cameras though, I dropped the phone getting out my vehicle and it landed on the back with the cameras and created some small damage on the back cameras but luckily I had a tempered glass protector over the cameras so they didn't get damaged. My latest case lasted 2 years and endured sigificantant abuse from rugged use. I dropped my phone a few times. Finally, the plastic started to break apart, the rubber bumper loosen, and rubber peel off the back. Otter Box replaced it, hassle free, for $10 shipping. Superb! Keep in mind that this case does not have a clear plastic cover over the screen. I pefer this as the clear plastic scratches easily. I prefer replaceable Black Ice screen protectors.
