Very cute,VERY STURDY, BUT NOT SO EASY TO HOLD. THE STYLUS PART I WISH WAS REMOVABLE , I HAVE SMALLISH HANDS AND ITS HARD TO GET A GRIP ON IT, AND I REALLY Don't USE A STYLUS PEN.     • Lightweight. Fits like a glove. Then why only four stars?
I had previously owned the Otterbox Defender series which was very โ€œchunkyโ€ in the pockets and had a plastic screen protector attached to it. I had that case for 3 years and I only replaced it because the rubber parts looked worn and some of the rubber was tearing off. So, I decided to buy the Commuter series. It was pleasantly lightweight and the color was a pastel pink which I liked. At first, coming from the Defender series, I felt like this case was too thin but it has protected my phone from several slips. My only concern is that whenever I put them in a few of my darker colored jeansโ€™ pockets, the rubber part also rubs off on the color. The rubber color has become darker ever since but at least I know to not put them in my jean pockets. I also got a minor crack on the part near the charging rubber cover, and itโ€™s not even a year since I got this case. You also have to buy a separate screen protector. I recommend buying a glass one. ... show more

    • Good but "vanity window" shows nothing and doesn't match the pictures on the listing
As another reviewer mentioned, the vanity window doesn't line up with anything on the SE 2nd generation and also feels a little weird when holding it near there. Would have preferred a case without the window like the listing photos showed and was expecting that. May return just for that reason even though it seems like a sturdy case. ... show more

This is a very nice case. Sturdy and keeps your phone off of the screen when set down on surfaces. It has great lift and protection around the camera to do the same. The color I got was pink cause it was much cheaper, and honestly, I'm surprised, its very pale, almost a peach like color and I really like that. Was afraid it was gonna be too girly for me, but it's actually really subtle and pretty colors, the darker part is like a mauve. Matches the rose gold of my phone actually. But way more importantly, the case seems really good. Not hard to get on at all if you follow the instructions, put on part one first, then part two (the hard case) and you're good to go. Feels nice in the hand, is smooth but textured, and if its anything like my defender in the past, this thing will kick ass at protecting my phone. I think it'll be great, but obviously just caring for your phone wisely is the best protection. Also, there's a limited lifetime warranty you can fill out to get a replacement within 5-7 years I believe if you case breaks before then. Great deal! ... show more

I haven't even got it yet and I'm sold on Otterbox. This Commuter series slips on and off really easy so no complicated install, and if you drop the phone it bounces! I've watched it happen with my previous phone and Commuter case. I was so relieved when that happened because I cracked a screen on another phone I dropped on a concrete floor. I drop my phones a lot but they're fine with these Otterbox cases. The raised bezel edge around the screen keeps the screen from touching any surface. If the phone falls flat on the floor, the bezel edge hits the floor not the screen. It doesn't really need a screen protector, which I don't like. I want to be able to touch my screens directly for optimum function. These cases have consistent quality too. No duds! Worth the higher price tag to protect your $1000+ smart phone! ... show more
