This is replacement for my first Otterbox case (exactly the same as this one). The first one cracked after 2 years and the warranty is only good for 1 year. It cracked after a drop on the concrete, so Otterbox is not completely indestructible and my phone screen also cracked so it did not protect the glass.     • Protecting when you don’t even know
I’ve had this specific Otterbox case for 6 months now, and I had another one before this. All I can say is they are super durable. My phone goes with me everywhere. Whether I am feeding the animals, going to town, or to appointments. I had been visiting a family member in the hospital about a week ago and my phone had fallen out of my pocket in front of the hospital without me knowing it. I had been getting my nephew out of the car at the time and just wasn’t looking. Later on when I couldn’t find it, we ended up driving back to the hospital wondering if it could have made its way into the lost and found. When we pulled up to the hospital, the security attendant directing the cars in front of the hospital let me know that she had picked it up off the ground and had given it to lost and found, and let me know that she thought it might have gotten run over. I went into the hospital and connected with security and they gave me my phone back. I am here to say that through all that, my phone was unharmed!!! My case does have a little dent in the plastic, but my phone is completely fine! Kudos to Supershieldz glass screen protectors as mine was pretty shattered, but my screen was flawless as well!! I know they are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Buy the $50 case and save the $300+ phone! ... show more

    • Pretty case but hard as heck to put on iphone
I bought this case because I like the color and it looked like it would be sturdy if I dropped my iPhone. However, I never had as much trouble putting on a phone case as I did with this one. And I have had a quite a few different brands. In addition, I'm not sure that the outer plastic part will stay in tact if I were to drop my phone. It seems wonky. I would not recommend this case. Additional info: I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I came back to edit my review down from 3 stars to 1 star because I couldn't get the case off my phone after finally getting it on. I had to take a tiny screwdriver and slowly pry it off by the plastic all the way around the phone. I didn't send the case back because I had cut off the flap for the charging port. If you have an iPhone 7 plus, this case might work better because it is a tad bit smaller. Also, I left out an important con about the phone: the charging cord never fit in the slot quite right even with the case on the phone perfectly. It was off-center and I had trouble getting the cord to connect fully. I thought removing the flap might help but it didn't. Constantly forcing and wriggling the connector is not good for my phone port. And no, the issue was not with my port, my iPhone is new. The case was off center on my phone and the cord would not make a good connection. The phone case is now in the trash. ... show more
