I recently purchased a Samsung 22 to upgrade from my previous phone. I opted to get a more protective case due to my clumsiness with my previous phone, dropped it and cracked the screen. So far... I'm glad I've made this decision! I've had no less than 4 nasty drops of my new phone, scared each time picking it up I broke the screen or worse. So far 4 times my phone is perfect after the fall. Even if it's not the most protective case on the market, it surely acts like it is! It's a comfortable fit in your hand, no too bulky or awkward. The buttons on the side of my phone are responsive and easy to push. The case removes with ease and doesn't become trapped in my pocket when I pull out to use it. If you enjoying dropping, having mishaps, or just want to throw your phone across the room (Maybe not do that..).     • No screen protector like in the old days but a great fit and makes phone easier to hold!
I keep phones until they're absolutely dead and just a couple weeks ago had to get a new one. Upgraded my 7-year old S7 with an S22. I don't see how anyone can use a phone without a case. They're slick and impossible to hold on to. My old S7 was protected by an Otterbox Commuter and was dropped many times. Phone was 100% unscathed each time. I'm almost positive when I bough cases for my S7 it came with a screen protector. Disappointed to not see one included this time. Still 100% recommend Otterbox. Read other reviewers saying theirs did not fit easily. Not an issue here. Popped right on with just minor adjustments for the USB-C port cover. Great case! Don't see the need for a "Defender" series unless you're very rough on your phone and/or work in construction. ... show more

And I don't even know when. I don't recall a drop where I thought there would be any damage. So, I don't see this holding up to a true hard fall. I will be purchasing a different brand as a replacement.

I know some reviewers stated they had difficulty getting the case to fit, with one reviewer tying this to the "made in Mexico version" whereas the "made in China" ones fit well. I received mine which was labelled as made in Mexico and I can say it fits well. Not calling the other reviewer a liar: perhaps they made an adjustment, but as of receiving the product in January 2023, it fits my S22 perfectly! Also, love the charge port cover ... show more

Fits perfectly and has legendary protection. Since putting it on, I have dropped it once with no damage whatsoever. It also provides a good amount of grippiness when holding the phone.

One day after getting my new phone, I dropped my phone in front of my friend's car as they pulled off and they ended up running it over!!! Thankfully, it had this case on it and the phone received no damage.

    • Great Case, but still a bit heavy
I initially bought this because I drop my phone a lot, so I wanted a high quality case. This thing lives up to all the hype. I can't count the number of times I dropped my phone, and I don't think there is a single scratch on the case itself. I know the larger version of this case, the defender, is supposed to be heavier than this, but this case is also still a bit to heavy for me. Also, it is a bit pricier than other cases.
