The package, with the alignment tool and all of the supplies to support the installation, is quite neat. I finished in no time, and I'm telling you that the slot at the top for the audio output and the round hole at the bottom for the big button there (for fingerprint reading, etc.) wound up being very well aligned. And the squeegee worked perfectly... no bubbles after little effort. But... hang on the the squeegee, as you're going to need it. Upon installing the otterbox and pressing the on-button on the upper right hand side two things happened. One... it took a lot of force to switch the phone on, and... a huge bubble (1" tall and 1/4" wide, in a circular arc) formed under the screen protector. It's because the rubber inner shroud of the otterbox is necessarily deformed by the pressing of the on-button, and it's lip then shoves on the edge of the screen protector. The same thing happens with the two buttons on the left (but not as badly). The only cure that I've found thus far is to peel back the rubber shroud of the otterbox with my bony little forefinger and thumb and then press the on button directly. Maybe I'll take an X-ACTO knife to the case and cut out the rubber overlays of the switches. ... show more

The protector comes with a cleaning kit, which worked well. The protector was fairly easy to install, with very few bubbles, and I am not good at that sort of thing. I was able to work out what few bubbles there were completely the first day, which surprised me. There do seem to be a couple of 'half bubbles' right on the edges, which I've become convinced are actually damage on the underside somehow and not actually bubbles. This is really disappointing because I was very careful with the product while applying it, which makes me think that the damage happened before I ever started applying it or happened somehow after it was on. The touch screen is responsive, I've had no issues there. The protector does leave a wide gap with the case (Otterbox case as well). I am concerned that this will collect dirt, as others have mentioned, but also chip and pose a cut hazard. I'm really careful with my phone so I'm trying to be optimistic, but if those 'half bubbles' are damage that I don't know how they happened already, it's not looking good. IMO, too many shortfalls for the price. There are lower priced products that aren't any better, but at least they don't cost as much. ... show more
