Got an issue with a Honda minivan a month ago and try many TPMS Tools. This is the most simply, fastest all in one tool, it actually will reprogram in less than 4 minutes, 2 second to activated per sensors and 2 minutes to write to ECU. It works OEM sensors as well as MX sensors. It can perform both TPMS & Low Tire Pressure check just like the other brands $800 tablet. It's like the vendor is the one manufactured all these TPMS tool and created this trim down version just not to directly compete with their customers - But is the best one. Sadly, I might still have to return because I think the issue on the Touring minivan requires some other protocol to communicate with the MID. One of my first positions in the automotive field was working for an automotive test equipment company as an "engineering test technician". To put it in plain language, my job was to use the equipment as a technician would use it and give feedback to the engineers from an automotive technician's perspective. I still really enjoy the process of critically evaluating automotive testing equipment. My initial impressions of the tool upon receiving it were very positive. To some extent, you can certainly judge a book by it's cover. This tool has a quality look and feel and feels good in the hand. It is very well constructed with a nice heavy rubber sheath to protect against drops. It comes with a nice sturdy blow-molded storage case. I took the time to read through the instructions, but that really was not necessary. The tool is super-intuitive which is very important to me. Even someone without a lot of TPMS background / experience should be able to pick up this tool and quickly be making successful TPMS diagnosis and repairs. Before using the tool I went through the process of registering and updating it which was super easy and simple. The 808 has a very comprehensive vehicle database which even includes OEM sensor manufacturer, part number, and frequency information. Probably the best thing to ever happen to the TPMS industry was the introduction of the the Autel MX sensors which are programmable to cover 98% of the OEM sensors on the market allowing shops to stock and carry one sensor instead of hundreds of different OEM sensors. Thankfully, the TireGo808 is capable of programming the MX sensors. Another super-cool feature is the ability to test key fobs and display their signal strength. Finally, the price is also a great feature of this tool. At this price there is really no excuse for any shop not to have a TPMS tool. The money invested should be made back within the first few jobs, and after that you will be making a profit. I am trained to evaluate critically, but I really did not find anything about this tool that I felt needed improvement. So far the experience is 100% positive and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Maxi TPMS TireGo808 and give it a 5-Star review. ... show more

Received the TPMS Programming Tool today, and I'm very happy with the purchase. 1st Very fast shipping, and well packed! It was very easy to connect to my WIFI network, for registration, and updating. Used the TPMS Tool on Chrysler 200 and was amazed how fast it was in detecting the tire sensors. This service tool is so simple and easy to use. I am a novice "mechanic" and this tool was super easy to use! Easily register and upgrade this tool over WIFI and comes with free lifetime software updates! I own a 2016 Forester and used this tool to activate a new MX sensor. Took less than a minute and the sensor was ready to install. I have also used this on a 2019 Pilot to relearn the sensors after a tire rotation. Also an easy process. Exact same thing as the Autel TS508 and is made by Autel. Works well programming MX sensors. Got it on sale for 188 which also made it a great deal. Plugs into OBD2 port for advanced diagnostics and programming. The only thing I will say about it negative is I tried to update it via Wi-Fi and it said it was already up to date, but I kept getting a message saying the programming was old and should be updated. It got annoying because it would pop up almost every time I used it. Then for fun I used the USB cable and downloaded the Windows computer update program. It did do an update on the tool and now the annoying pop up is gone. Almost returned it so if you are having this problem, update it via USB instead of wifi. ... show more

    • This is extremely frustrating.
We got this for my husband to use. It arrives in a box with a nice case. It seems to be made well as far as build quality. The reason for the low rating is that it is so difficult to navigate the installation. My husband has almost 40 years experience with computers and cars and did not want to even finish the installation. It needs an update, which requires other installs just to do the update. This is not worth the frustration so we would not buy this again. ... show more
