We own their Farpoint and Fairview backpacks and daypacks, Moki Children's Hydration Backpack, Nebula Shoulder Sling Bag, Ozone Two-Wheel Carry-On Suitcase and Brief Bag, Arcane Earth Duffle Pack, and Sopris 25 Ski and Snowboard Backpack so we have plenty of firsthand knowledge of the quality of the Osprey brand. I ordered this Osprey Mountain Bound Ski & Snowboard Boot Bag Plus in the cascade blue color, which is a beautiful gender-neutral color. It's much more fun than a boring black bag. The bag is made of durable, water-resistant nylon material that is bluesign approved. Bluesign materials keep harmful substances out of the manufacturing process and must meet strict environmental and worker safety standards. I appreciate that Osprey is concerned with the environment and the health and safety of their customers and workers. The Mountain Bound Ski & Snowboard Boot Bag Plus is a 55 liter bag that weighs only 3.45 pounds. The Plus version is not carry-on size like the standard boot bag. I prefer having a single larger boot bag instead of multiple smaller boot bags and am not concerned with the size. We travel by car to the ski resorts, so checking it on a flight is not an issue for us. The Mountain Bound Ski & Snowboard Boot Bag Plus has adjustable padded backpack straps and a waist belt to make carrying it easy. The load is nicely distributed due to the design. It has the great Osprey Airscape back panel for ventilation and comfort. The bag has a molded design that is heavily padded to protect the gear stored inside. I got the larger bag (Plus) for carrying two pairs of boots. The boot compartment is roomy and can be accessed in multiple ways for ease of use. It can be accessed from either side via the zippered side panels. Alternatively, it can be accessed from the top by unzipping the divider between the top storage compartment and the boot compartment. It's obvious that Osprey puts a lot of thought into their designs when it comes to functionality. One of the side panels has a zippered mesh pocket that holds a shoe mat. This is a thoughtful addition. I appreciate having a clean and dry surface for changing shoes. The Osprey Mountain Bound Ski & Snowboard Boot Bag Plus functions as more than just a boot bag. The top compartment is handy for storing miscellaneous gear like helmets, goggles, hats, and gloves. A flat zippered pocket hidden away in the top of this compartment is a great place for storing small items and hiding valuables. Its location is unexpected and it blends in so well with the lining that it is likely to go unnoticed. The YKK zippers with pulls operate easily and smoothly every single time. The zippers are not lockable. The bag has attachments for skis on the sides and a snowboard on the front. I appreciate that it can be loaded up with all our gear and carried by my husband. I haven't had a chance to use it on a ski trip yet, but I have no doubt it is going to serve our needs perfectly this winter and for many more years to come. Purchasing this Osprey Mountain Bound Ski & Snowboard Boot Bag Plus is certainly an investment at the current price of $179.95. However, I don't mind paying extra for high-quality Osprey equipment because I know it is a one-time purchase that is going to last. I'm a firm believer in "buy nice or buy twice." You don't have to worry about buying twice with this bag because it is covered by Osprey's impressive All Mighty Guarantee: "Should you find any defect in the way your pack has been built, we will repair or replace it without any charge, within its reasonable lifetime."

Seriously guys, Osprey is such an amazing company. This design is attractive and functional/durable. Very comfortable to wear as well. The massive pockets and board holder allow you to carry a ton of stuff. I like that the material is slightly water resistance and holds itself up. When fully loaded, this thing is almost rigid. Osprey also has an amazing lifetime warranty, if anything ever goes wring, contact their support and they will send you new pieces or repair your gear. All of my items from them though are well used and have held up perfectly. I', sure this will be another item from them that lasts a lifetime.

This bag is rugged, well made, and has plenty of room for gear. Like every Osprey bag I've had, the quality is top of the line. The bag is made of durable, water resistant material with plenty of padding. All the zippers are rugged and zip smoothly. The boot compartment is spacious and nicely padded. The included mat is a thoughtful addition, but I haven't found myself using it much. There are plenty of pockets to accommodate whatever gear or necessities you need on hand. All in all, the bag is highly functional, rugged, and well made.

This bag is pretty amazing. I love how sturdy it is, and it's engineered to feel light on my back. When I have my boots in here, the weight's evenly distributed so that it doesn't cause me any strain. I have a SLAP tear, which is the labrum cartilage in the shoulder, so any kind of pressure on that shoulder will really cause me a lot of pain. But I don't have that problem with this bag, even if it's fully loaded. Straps are nice and padded. I didn't know about Osprey bags until this past year, and I'm really glad I discovered them because they make a huge difference in the strain and fatigue you feel when you're wearing them on a trip. I took this one on a hike to test it out and can't wait to take it up to ski in the winter.

With plenty of pockets inside and out and an enormous capacity, as well as plenty of comfy padding all around, this bag has got you covered! You can carry it numerous ways, given the various straps available, and this thing can really carry a lot! The material is top-notch – as you might expect with any products coming from Osprey– and the zippers feel heavy duty and very durable. This high-quality and attractive bag is not just well suited to boots, but to just about any and all gear you can think of that would fit in it!

I’ve had an Osprey pack for years and it’s still kicking. I'm using this bag now and it's the same story on build quality. The padded boot compartment with the fold-out mat is great for parking-lot changes, and the separate spots for helmet and goggles keep wet/snowy stuff from touching everything else. The straps ride close and comfy from car to lodge or through airports. I’ve used the vertical snowboard carry and the frame ski carry; both feel secure and balanced. Fabric shrugs off slush, zips work well, and the whole bag stands up well while loading. Excellent, travel-friendly hauler!

Osprey makes high quality outdoor items and this ski boot backpack does not disappoint. The quality of the materials and manufacturing are flawless and this looks like an expensive well made backpack. A set of ski boots fits easily inside as well as a helmet and there is easy access from the top and both sides to get inside to get to the items. On one side there is a pocket where there is a padded mat that you can put on the ground to have a dry clean place to stand when changing from your shoes to boots or boots to shoes, very nice touch. The zippers are all nice quality and had no issues with them. Plenty of padding in the back and the straps are comfortable to wear on your back. There are straps on the front of the pack where you can attach other items or maybe your coat or pants. There is also decent room inside to put other items like gloves and glasses.
