The media could not be loaded. I cannot claim to know anything about birds or bird watching, but I got this as a Christmas gift for my mom and so far we have both been impressed with everything about it. It's pretty, and big enough for several birds to visit at once. The hardware that comes with it offers multiple options for installing, and the unit slides on and off the bracket easily. The wifi picks up about 40 feet away from my house and has been stable. The battery life is better than I anticipated and the solar panel is easy to set up. The additional features are cooler than I thought they would be and seem to work consistently. You can watch live or check the 'library' for auto captures. Holds a ton of food. I have no interest in birds but have been enjoying watching as much as mom, and we can both access the app using sharing. I did not expect to have this much to say about a bird feeder for my nutty bird mom, but I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Full features require a monthly sub to keep after month trial, but it's only $4.49 and includes cloud storage--worth it imo. UPDATE: Added pic to show squirrel proofing using a baffle and some poles I had laying around. The pole clamps in the included hardware work great at stabilizing the bracket and feeder even on a 1/2 inch pole.

I had high hopes for the Osoeri Smart Bird Feeder with Camera, but it fell short in many areas. While the idea of a 2K HD camera and AI bird identification is great, the execution was disappointing. The camera often failed to connect properly, and the motion detection was inconsistent, missing birds or triggering for no reason. The solar charging feature didn’t work reliably, leading to frequent manual recharging. The DIY add-ons were flimsy and didn’t add much value. Overall, I found this product to be more frustrating than enjoyable, making it difficult to recommend.
