I was born bald and didn't grow any hair until I was about 2. It was a soft, fuzzy afro that everyone loved and I hated. As time went on it became the most unruly kinky, coarse hair a person can have. It can only be brushed if it's relaxed and straightened with a flat iron or when wet and doused with conditioner. I have edges that never grow and either break off or stick out like fuzzy, frizzy cotton. And when the rest of my hair gets too long it breaks off. So needless to say I have been having it relaxed for years. When I became an adult and had to pay my own bills going to the salon every 3 months cramped my style and my budget, big time. So I decided to do my own hair. I have tried almost every relaxer out there and the one that was my go to was the adult version of this. I considered it my never fail hair savior. However after seeing this was cheaper and guessing their couldn't be that much of a difference I decided to try it. I relaxed yesterday. Brushed it and let it dry naturally with no styling products and I am blown away by the difference. Not only is my hair straighter and smoother it was left much healthier. I didn't even know my hair could feel like this. I can brush or comb it when it's dry. For the first time ever it dried naturally and didn't turn into a poof ball. It laid flat in soft waves. My edges lay nice and flat along my hairline. I slept with my hair down and didn't wake up to a freak show hairdo. All I had to do was run my fingers through it. I can finally just get out of the shower and go. I no longer have to worry about what the weather is going to be like. I'm literally blown away. I thought that me doing it at home and using store bought relaxer was the reason my hair felt dry and coarse and broke off all over the place. I thought there was some sort of trick the salons used to make my hair feel smooth and healthy. I still think there is a trick, but now I have my own. The kid version. I will forever be using this and I pray they never change the ingredients. Trust me when I say get this version. It will leave your hair much healthier AND it's cheaper. It's a win win. I know time may alter how this fairs out. So I will update this as needed. Update: It's been a few days and usually by now I can tell if there's been any damage or lasting ill effects such as drying out or becoming brittle. I'm pretty shocked to say the least. My hair still feels as soft as the day I did it. Of course there's a little damage around my edges, but that's my fault because I've never used the protection gel. I'm lazy like that. However the rest of my head has no damage and is silky soft and so manageable. I'm so impressed with this product. I'm starting to think this is what my hairdresser uses. I'm going to stock up on this before the secret gets out and the price goes up. ;)

I wanted to kinda do a babydoll looking hairstyle and have straight bangs with my curly bob, and this sure did deliver! It was my first time using relaxer and having dyed hair i went with the kids formula to play it safer. And my hair came out exactly as i wanted!!! I will say it was a little damaged feeling after but not to the point of concern. Been really great, been about 2 weeks since i did it and my hair isnt as stick straight as it was but generally way way straighter than it was, its just a bit fluffly now.

I have super FINE hair. I mean SUPER FINE! I used this baby right here and my hair feels ALIVE after relaxing! ALL of my fine hair is STILL in tact after rinsing out the relaxer 😭😭I'm crying because for the last 6 months, I was using another relaxer and it was NOT a pretty sight. My hair is at PEACE!
