With the proper size 3/4” vacuum hose I was able to pull vacuum down to about 150 microns in about 5 minutes on 50’ line set for a 5-Ton HVAC system. It needs vacuum oil so I used some synthetic one and it worked great. It’s pretty oil hungry but gets the job done fast and it’s not very loud compared to other pumps.     • Outstanding Vacuum Pump!
I used this pump for the replacement of my evaporator core in my BMW G30. When the pump came in, I immediately opened it up and filed the pump with the included oil. A couple days later, I started on my evaporator replacement. After I had installed the new evaporator I connected the pump and turned it on while I proceeded to put my entire interior back together which was a little over 8 hours on none stop running. At a couple points, I had to go and check on the pump because I notice that I didn't hear it, just to find out was still working and quite efficiently at that. This 9cfm pump not only exceeded my expectations, but it was super quite a well. I have been driving around now for a couple weeks now with ice cold AC thanks to this pump. I am confident that this thing was able to pull every bit of moisture from my system, especially after how long that I had it running for. Everything on this pump is easy to access and it never once got hot on my l me. I highly recommend this pump for any AC job that you want to throw at it and am sure it will handle the job with ease. ... show more

I've used this 5 times so far once for a minisplit and the other regular installs like 2 5 tons up to 4 and 5 tons pulls microns as fast as the field piece ona double install we started it up same time both were both linesets same length I've happy I could see myself spending crazy money for a vacuum pump works great. ... show more

I purchased this pump for use with a vacuum table. Pros: - It's pretty quiet for what it is - build quality seems superb - appreciate the brass fittings Cons: - The instructions are a little lacking, however, use is pretty obvious Conclusion: In terms of vacuum pressure, this is plenty for a vacuum press. It works really well but is messy as hell. I'm going to need to out it inside of a bucket and raise it up so the excess oil doesn't just run all over the floor. Suction power is works great though. I'm using this for a vacuum table for my cnc machine 4x4 (actual vacuum area I've tried so far has been 24x32. Haven't had a chance to do a full sheet of anything yet.) ... show more
