Looks like a toy but works like a regular vacuum but just have to make sure to use tru blu vacuum hoses to get the maximum out if this vacuum pump and yes it uses battery now this comes in a tool bag which include a bag, charger, 5ah battery and the vacuum itself the bag itself is very sturdy and it can be put with other tools without worrying about damaging it I have it used it couple of times and had no issues with it now one thing after 10 or 20 min the rpm lowers down it stated in the manual it's not a fault it just I think to save energy now make sure to get one more battery as a backup incase you run out their's also a shut off valve to isolate the vacuum pump as well. I think navac is coming out with a 4cfm vacuum pump that might be more for commercial a light industrial this 2cfm is good enough for me.

I'm impressed with it so far very light and easy to carry up a ladder comes with a very nice bag to put it in Update on this I had the charger stop working so i sent Navac an email and they responded in less then an hour with some directions of things to check to see if i could it i could fix it myself but it didnt fix it so i sent another email and they said they would send me a new one in less then an hour. I had a tracking number the next day and a new charger in less then 48 hours their customer service is awesome. the pump still works great and have had no problems since.

Works pretty good. Been doing a check for a while always had a yellow jacket 7 CFM. This one does almost as good as that not just as good. Went out and bought the 9 ah battery has a battery indicator on it.

This pump was said to be good but when it arrived it was broken from the side i was like fk that i dish out 500 for this! They better send a replacement or at least upgrade to the 4cfm for the crap they put me thru if im paying this much for an item than i expect a new one not a fk broken one i tried charging the battery but its on stand by it wont charge i want my money back

THESE ARE A JOKE. MINE WORKED FINE ONCE THE NEXT TIME I WENT TO USE IT , IT WOULD NOT START. I TRIED TO CHARGE THE BATTERY BUT THE BATTERY HAD FAILED. THE MFG. WILL NOT RESPOND AT ALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS IS JUST ANOTHER PIECE OF CHINA CRAP.

I really wanted this to work, but the battery life is no good i work on large walk in coolers and the battery dies before it can pull down the system. 15min of battery is no good i called and complained but they dont care

The pump works great unfortunately the charger smoked and can’t seem to find another one you have to buy a whole new pump you can’t just get a charger it’s kind of sad because I’m not gonna spend another $600 for something that’s a charger won’t work
