If you're looking for a healthy dog product, this is it! My dog used to have horrible arthritis and it got to the point where I almost put her down because she couldn't walk anymore. I switched her food over to this product and started giving her some cosequin like vitamins and her arthritis is all gone. This is not made with any by-products or fillers and it's 100% healthy. As soon as I put it down, she eats it up within minutes. This is one of the better dog foods that I found. I have a Chihuahua. Pay attention to the feeding guides on the back of the bag so your dog doesn't get fat. My dog is 8 and still plays like a puppy. Great product! What you feed your dog really matters.     • Works for a Trim Waistline
My 5-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund has always had extra weight on her. She does not over eat. But every dry dog food we have given her just adds extra pounds. We switched her to this "Trim" blend about a week ago and we can already see a difference. She also eats the dry food from this brand and enjoys it. We mix a little wet food with her dry food. Prior to this brand she always picked out the Wet food first, then came back for the dry when she was really hungry. With this brand she eats the dry food at the same time. We tried the small breed blend first, but it was still keeping the pounds on her waistline. So, we tried this "trim" blend and we are very happy. My only negative is I wish it came in a small breed version with smaller kernels. But, it's still a fairly small kernel and she eats it just fine. Top quality ingredients but for the money, I want my dogs to love it so I'm giving it a 4. The ingredients are the best I've seen yet and I've done my research !

So far my dog loves this kibble. I wanted to give her something different than the usual kibble given to diabetic dogs. I like that there is a lot of protein in this kibble.

I rescued Shiloh 2-1/2 years ago, everything I give her is all natural including flea treatment (flea free) and (HWH) for heartworms. I am very, very particular about what I feed her, found Origen about 18 months ago and as far as I am concerned it is the best kibble there is because of the raw coating and their very healthy protien ingredients. I also add liver, sardines or ground beef for every meal. She has never been to the vet for any health problem...had her teeth cleaned 2 months ago and they found no decay or bone loss..THANK YOU ORIJEN!!! ... show more

I changed from this to their small dog variety which is virtually the same but smaller bites. My 7 pound chihuahua mix scarfs this down. She has been very picky about other brands of dry foods and often refused to eat them or ate only a few bites, but she loves this brand. She tries to convince me that I didn't fead her because her bowl is empty so she leads me to her bowl and dances around it. ... show more
