I got this after playing pickleball for 1 months. I played with loaner paddles and just couldn't decide what I wanted, but being a beginner with previous racket sports experience, I knew I didn't want low end nor high end product. After researching and reviews I landed on the Gigapower, and I like the name as well - no one else I play with would have my gigapower! The paddle is great for power. Drives and smashes are incredible, and I have plenty of control. However, I cannot get a feel for the finesse game - third shot drops bounce too hard, dinks bounce too much. This paddle and it's power are too much for the finesse game. I have now purchased a new paddle, higher end, and immediately am able to play with finesse, but with less pop and power. So, if you like power and slamming the ball around and being able to control your power hits, you should find you will love this paddle. It was a great starter paddle, and I paid a bit more than today's price. But now that I've played and am learning more about the game, I find I have grown out of what this paddle has to offer. Final thought- very good beginner -intermediate player paddle that offer lots of gigapower. Very nice price for what you get. Great for bangers style of play. ... show more
