Just got it today and Tomkitty could smell it right away through the package and was going nuts. I have been on a search for a more raw diet with better quality ingredients and no grains. The very first ingredients are the meats. I had hom on Taste of the Wild and always loved it but I truly think rhe recipe has been changed and not for the better. Tom's coat is looking dull, he's shedding excessively and he's looking thin. He's totally an inside kitty and has no parasites...so it has to be his food. It's the first day but he's already loving the few pieces I've given him and begging for more...so I'm excited to see if this will get him back in shape. While my kitten and Cat love this food a lot, it’s way too pricey for just 4 lbs. HOWEVER, my kitten’s fur is now soft, she eats way more and she’s not gassy anymore. We don’t know what bad ingredients she was reacting to in the previous foods we’ve tried, but this one has really made a difference. Just wish this company would make it 5 lbs instead of only 4. My cats love this food. My vet said it’s a good one but they did gain weight. He told me that a study was done and this food is very good quality and the cats actually absorb more of it. Therefore even compared to the same calorie count as another food they could gain weight so I have to feed a little less. Both of my cats love this food. I have one that's a picky eater and she loves it. The first couple of ingredients are all meat and fish, not fillers like some other brands. I just wish it was less expensive.

This, along with Orijen's Original, is the main dry food I feed my cats. I leave both out for free feeding, and supplement with different canned food. I have a Bengal and Maine Coon and they have large appetites. As much as they eat, they are both still lean. I can tell a big difference in my 12 year old cat’s coat since she’s been eating this. Love that it’s grain free. I feed my kitten the Orijen kitten food & both love their food and each other’s so I have to keep guiding them back to their bowls.
