This is the best dry food you can get. this new formula of amazing grains is coated with powder flavor (I'm guessing freeze dried meat) so my dogs like it more. It's pretty high price but if you compare it to other quality products it's not a bad value.

I have a 8 year old Siberian Husky, he's the pickiest eater I've ever seen in a dog. I've been feeding him TOTW - Ancient grain for about 4-5 years now and he never had an issue with it. I'd switch up different bags every other month to give him a change.... However... About 3 months ago, he just stopped eating it, he'd go 2-3 days at at a time without eating anything. I'd even try to add other food or something in his bowl, and he would eat everything I threw in there, except his food. I tried multiple different brands of dog food, and he was the same way with every single one. I didn't realize Orijin had a grain incluai brand until a couple days ago. When I saw this, I decided I'd give it a try. .... To my amazement, he absolutely LOVES it. The second I opened the bag, my Husky (and Malinois) went absolutely crazy. I've never seen either of my dogs act this way around dog food. I've been using it for about 3 days now, and my Husky hasn't missed a meal. He's also letting me know he's hungry, just like he use to do months ago! ... show more

I received the Regional Red flavor for Hometesterclub and was impressed with the high quality ingredients. I'm assuming that's why it smelled so awful opening the bag, but it does seal thank goodness. I did the portioned mix with his other food and he seemed to like it better than his other brand, almost picking through the old stuff to get to the new stuff. He is a very messy eater, leaves food all around his food bowl area, which he didn't do with the Orijen (as pictured), so that's also a win. I would continue with this brand, but unfortunately the price is way out of my range right now. ... show more

My Goldendoodle LOVES this food & he’s such a picky eater! My only recommendation is to package it better for mailing. It arrived at my post office w/no name & nothing around it. Just a bag of dog food. Thank goodness it’s a small P.O. & when I asked if it arrived they handed it to me & said, “We were wondering who it belonged to.” It’s amazing that I ever received it! ... show more

My dog, Josie, can be very fussy when it comes to her dog food. Sometimes I have to pretend I’m putting extra goodies with her food, as well as, pretend microwave her dog bowl for her to show interest. I’ve had her try many different brands of dog food. She always starts off liking it, but then by the 3rd or 4th bowl, she’s lost interest. To my surprise, Josie didn’t lose interest in Orijen’s Amazing Grains Regional Red dog food! I made sure to ween her off her old food, so it didn’t cause any digestive issues. She’s a big fan of meal time with Orijen, and she even does a happy dance when I’m filling her food dish. I really like how there’s 90% premium animal ingredients! Makes me feel good about giving Josie quality dog food. The food does smell a little fishy, but I know there’s fish in the ingredients. If you have a fussy eater, I highly recommend you buy this food for your dog! ... show more

I have been using Orijen Original dog food for years, great product. This is the 2nd attempt with Regional Red and a 2nd failure. Regional Red gives my two dogs diarrhea. My neighbor tried it and her Retriever got bad diarrhea. Do not waste your money on Regional Red!
