So think of this as a guide so you can cut straight, it also takes some getting used to because you kind of want to hold it or have someone hold it so it stays straight so you can cut it. But it does work if you’re just trying to get a quick basic cut.

I've had my eye on this product for a while, but it seemed a little pricey at first. After much consideration, I decided to purchase this and I am SO HAPPY I did. It truly seems too good to be true and for that reason, I doubted whether it was going to be as great as it sounded - but it really is. I have straight, fine hair, and I opted for a nice trim with an all-over length. My daughter helped me, and she said that it was a nice tool to use. All in all, it took about 10 minutes, and I'm just as happy with this cut as I've ever been with an expensive salon haircut. Granted, we didn't add layers, so I can't speak to how it would work for that, but I am really satisfied with the shoulder length cut. It took a couple tries to really get the back portion of my hair closest to my neck the proper length. We determined that after getting the rest of the length to where we wanted it, I just needed to tilt my chin forward, so she could trim the bottom portion (with the crea clip) so I wouldn't have sections with longer hair in the back. I washed and blow dried my hair before the cut, and we used the 45-degree angle approach to cutting. I am really happy with this tool, and it's already paid for itself with just one haircut. I would highly recommend it!

I don’t actually think the leveling technology (the thing that you’re supposed to look at to make sure you’re cutting straight) actually works at all. I just used this as a clip and held it against a straight edge to cut my hair.

Just used it and love how my hair turned out. Very easy and intuitive to use. Highly recommend! Worth the price if you think of all the money you’ll save on quick trims at the salon. I hate going to the salon and that’s about $160 per year I’ll save for the rest of my life!!

I bought this because I do cut my own hair. It is shoulder length and I couldn't use the large White Band to cut it myself. My daughter used it and thought it was very cumbersome. She was able to make both sides even using the tool.

I just needed to trim my bangs and this made it a lot easier! It took five minutes, and the shape turned out nice. It felt kind of pricey, but I'm sure I'll use this many more times because it's more convenient than scheduling an appointment. This was a good choice!

it does the job of holding my hair together when i trim the ends. i wouldn't say that it could replace the hairdresser for anything fancier than this, so don't get your expectations too high. good enough for my purposes though, because i don't have a good hairdresser in the area. 30-something dollars for this piece of plastic is just too much. alas, i could not find any alternative sellers that would offer a more reasonable price.
