Each of these five CDs comes in its own cardboard sleeve with album art. The five sleeves slide into a larger cardboard sleeve for storage. There are no plastic jewel boxes or lyrics sheets. The recordings are good but for some reason Private Audition and Passionworks play at a MUCH lower volume than the other three CDs. I enjoy listing to Heart. I saw this Original Album Classics for $19.99 with free shipping. Where can I get Heart cds for $4 + each. This collection has 5 of their albums in it. I just checked and it looks like they have it on sale for $15 or so with free shipping. What a deal. It you are a Heart fan and don't have these albums get this while you can. I had all me Heart albums on vinyl and CD, but lost the in a house fire, soooo next best thing without spending a bunch...Original Album Classics! You get 5 of their first albums, when I really loved their music, and they are packed to look like the albums, but smaller. No liner notes, nothing fancy, just all 5 with a great sound. I was very happy to get them. But remember, for awhile these sets are cheaper, and after awhile the prices can skyrocket. So please don't miss them at the cheaper price. If you love Heart, and need to update your set, this is the perfect way to go. ... show more

Heart released 6 albums on Portrait/Epic Records between 1977 - 1983. Collected here are the five original albums minus the Greatest Hits/Live album that is available separately. Little Queen, Dog & Butterfly and Bebe le Strange are three very strong albums and include bonus tracks. Private Audition and Passionworks are transitional in nature and suggest where Heart would be going with a revamped lineup and sound. The five CDs all sound good, and are in one spot for a great price. ... show more
