  • Adequate Tool Set
So I have been carrying around this ancient computer toolkit for decades. Pretty much the only tool I use from it is a philips screwdriver. Recently, I tactfully misplaced it (read lost) it. So I wanted a modern day replacement. I saw this kit had a driver, some pry tools and other things that make sense in today's environment. So the first thing I used this kit for was to swap out a CPU from my son's PC. I used this kit to assemble a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition. I used one of the Philips bits in the driver. The Philips bit I used worked well enough. The driver itself has an extension that you can attach if you need to get some height for a deep reach. It even has a snake style attachment as well, though I have not tried it yet. There are other bits for stars and flat heads and other heads in the kit. While there is a good variety, the bits themselves seem to be overly small. The Philips I used before was the largest Philips bit in the kit yet it still seemed small for standard Philips head screws. My next upgrade will be to swap out a CPU in my wife's PC. It uses a star bit for its CPU cooler. So I will have to see how this kit works when I tackle that job. The reason for my 3 star review is that the driver and bits seems nice but the bits though numerous seem small. The rest of the kit seems a little flimsy. When every tool is in place in the kit, the kit itself when velcroed shut is not a sealed carry bag. Rather it is more like a folio flap over flap type close state. I am fearful if something is not secured correctly that an item may fall out of the kit or if I would drop it and the thing fly open, things would fly everywhere. Now the driver and bits are in a closeable hard plastic case that fits in the folio but I still think the whole thing would be better served if a completely closed case. I couldn't quite tell from the pictures that this did not fully close before purchasing. I do not want to be unfair. This is not a bad kit. For my first job of many personal casual uses to come, it worked well. However, it is not a great kit either. Definitely middle of the road. So for my use, I will probably do 90+ % use with the driver set and never use the pry tools or other things in it and that's fine. I just thing there are probably better ones out there. ... show more

  • Has everything I need
There's a lot of different type of screws and works perfectly, and also good tools to dissamble devices properly.

  • NICE
These tools are every thing I need. The set of different bits have served good me far. But it has only been a week, so that is not a very good review. If you are going for tools to build a PC. Then, yes, there is a socket in the tips that fits the standoffs. But it is the biggest size in the kit. So that is my first peeve about these tools. OK. My dislikes about these tools. The socket tips need to go to a bigger size. Then the magnetic aspect of this screwdriver. It is not stong enough. I am comparing it to my other screwdrivers. And this one does not measure up. Then the case is way to small. It is like the CEO came around and cut every corner to save a penny. And cut just to much. But that little list is my complaints. Otherwise, these are great. And I bought my did one for his Birthday. And I sure don't let people associate my name with junk. So, I like the product. And even my complaints are probably not even seen by some. It could be a personal thing. There are pry tools, pic tools. really sharp pointy forceps and all the driver bits. And the screwdriver extends out to get WAY down in this massive heat-sink I get. So I'm happy. But this set deserves a better case. The one it comes with is so cramped it barley shuts. This is a place where your company could make another sale. Sell a better case. Make it a hard-shell case. Like the one a set of vise grips come in. I’ll buy two. One for me and one for the person I bought another set of these tool. ... show more

  • It's always in my backpack
I use this thing several times a week. I don't always use it for taking apart a phone or a computer, but having it is a blessing, because always having the right bit makes my life 10x easier. And it was fairly cheap, but decent quality, so if a friend or colleague borrows it, I don't have to worry about is they're going to mess up my good set of drivers. ... show more

  • Good tools, passable packaging
In general, and especially considering the price, this is a very good set of tools. The tools are all made to reasonably high precision; they fit the screws I needed cleanly, surfaces on the tweezers mate nicely, and they're mostly clean of burrs or flashing (the plastic bits needed some cleaning). The bit material is hard and somewhat brittle, but I think a good selection for use on electronics and such. The various prying implements could use a bit more sharpening; it's hard to get them into well-fit spaces. The holders for the bits are a rubbery material, I'm not sure what. It holds them pretty securely, though (purely for appearance' sake) it would be nice if they were a couple or so mm longer; the metric drivers are pretty crowded. The screwdriver's a bit of a wash; it works, but it's bulky and you can feel a bit of grinding. The flexible extension is almost ludicrously floppy; I don't know if that will cause a problem in use or not, I haven't yet needed it. The packaging--the nylon case and the driver-set case--could really use work, though. The actual driver set case is pretty good, but the packaging inside is the kind of thin plastic that's usually used in boxes and intended to be discarded; it really should be replaced with something more durable; even cast nylon would work, though milled foam would be superb. The nylon carrying case is overall pretty nice, but can't quite close evenly (the demagnetizer holds it open a bit); giving the bit set case another cm would help immensely. ... show more

  • Versatile kit with everything you need
This kit has every screwdriver tip, pry tool and suction tool to repair almost any electronic device with small pieces. I used this kit to upgrade 2 laptop memory kits and a different laptops battery. I watched some online guides for direction, and this kit had everything I needed and more. I would reccomend this kit to a friend looking to upgrade or repair electronic devices. ... show more
