Really great case. The black looks amazing with the space gray macbook. It's a little hard to install. At first I thought my 2020 mac wouldnt fit but it's just a really tight fit. It takes a little bit of muscle but you don't have to put so much pressure that the screen cracks. Just be careful and the effort will pay off because the case is amazingly sturdy once everything clicks in place. 10/10 would purchase again if I was crazy enough to attempt to remove this case to replace it

Been looking for a case for my new MacBook, this one seemed promising vs. the other ones I was looking at. Lucky find I guess, seems like a good case, tight fit overall. I really like the matte finish, but if you're into shiny things, this one is not for you. Pros: - It doesn't block any ports, even with some of my USB-C connectors on the larger side. - It doesn't block the ventilation openings significantly either, my temps haven't changed. - The top and bottom shells do not rub against each other near the hinge when the MacBook Pro is opened/closed (so many cases did just that on my older 15" Touch Bar MacBook Pro, the screen was literally bent every time I would open/close it). Cons: - The top shell is extremely tight, expect a couple attempts before you get it on right (make sure to secure the corners near the hinge first). - You can toss the keyboard cover, while it looks and fits good, it's useless and makes typing painful - Quality is alright, but twenty-three bucks for a piece of chinesium that costs less than a buck to make is a bit of a rip-off. I guess that's the price to pay for being an early adopter. I expect the price to go down once Amazon is inundated with similar cases. We'll see if it lasts.

Good fit, offers nice protection for my 16” MacBook Pro. Noticed the corners were cracked after 6 months of light and careful usage, but has not gotten worse after 4 years of use. Would get something similar for my next laptop, but would probably remove it often when not transporting. The 16” MacBook Pro get warm often when i use it for video editing and after 2 years of use with this cover, i noticed the bottom surface of the laptop has grill markings from the heat vents on the covers. Basically, the aluminum surface of my space grey laptop oxidized at the exposed area from the vents/grills leaving a distinct matching pattern from the cover. It’s not bad, and hardly noticeable, but can be seen if you look long enough…a slight discoloration. Many reviewers of this cover had suggested removing and wiping the surface of the laptop regularly to prevent dirt and debris from collecting between the cover and the laptop surface causing micro scratches. I’m sure this would have prevented the grill marks, but removing it often would probably cause the cracks at the corners to get worsen.

Purchased these covers to protect my new Macbook Pro 16". I like these covers and the purple color but the top cover was extremely difficult to "snap" into place (very tight and didn't want to damage screen trying to get the last edge on securely). Maybe there's a trick to it that I didn't know about! Prior to putting on the covers, I wiped top and bottom of my Macbook Pro clean to remove any fingerprints/smudges/etc. However, as seen in the pics (flash off and on), any residue (I'm guessing possible oil from hands or possible temperature changes) is easily transferable and shows through underneath covers. Since the top cover is not easily put on or removed, it would be quite an ordeal to have to wipe laptop off frequently. If having a pristine appearance is important to you, you may need to reconsider these "clear" covers or figure out an easier way of putting them on or removing them.
