Love this camera. I wouldn't get it for video quality alone, especially in low light conditions, but with a battery pack it can record all day long, and the wide angle combined with head-mounting means it can capture extended chunks of life exactly as they happened. The ability to dynamically set the quality makes it possible to choose how to trade off resolution/frame rate vs. storage space, and with a 256 GB SD card you can get dozens of hours at reasonable quality. I haven't put it to the test in any really extreme conditions, but it seems sturdy enough and wasn't harmed by rain or cold.     • Easy to use but unfair marketing
I like the product. However, the promo video included the remote. So I was disappointed when it wasn’t in there. Then I tried customer support and it takes you to a website that is hard to navigate. I would really like the remote. Can someone help?

Don’t buy this camera it’s very bad value even for $50 The picture quality is terrible The application that goes with the camera is very basic Took me a long time together together headband is very flimsy Dump attention to all the colorful advertising because it’s really a useless piece of junk I was very disappointed The audio quality is quite good, so maybe it could be used as a tape recorder ... show more

I wanted to like this camera as I hoped I could use it for reviews. Unfortunately, the head-mount does not work well in terms of keeping the camera level so the image is always at an angle. Unusable for me so I sent it back.

Gotta be honest... this POV camera has impressed me, but it wasn't until I used it in the field. My initial tests around the house didn't blow me away. But then I took this camera on a US Army training exercise and found that it worked rather well while riding around in my HMMWV and on foot. In the attached pictures (These are screen grabs from 4k video): Pic 1 shows a Blackhawk helicopter that is several hundred yards away at zero zoom. Pic 2 shows the same Blackhawk filmed from the same spot, but fully zoomed. Pic 3 is a selfie of me driving the HMMWV while wearing the camera Pic 4 is me exiting the HMMWV wearing the camera (on the right of the pic) What I like: - I really thought that the mention of a Gimbal on this camera was just marketing BS. I didn't see how a gimbal could be housed in this little housing. But while in the field filming I took the camera off to check something and , sure enough, I could actually see the lense moving around on 2 axis (vertical and horizontal). Now that I have looked over all of the video from using it in the field I can see where the gimbal smoothed out the motion quite a bit. It is not as smooth as a true 3-axis gimbal, but it makes a noticeable difference. - The little speaker that sits over my ear to give voice indicators of what action is being taken. Since this is designed to be a worn camera, this works really well. - The app and wifi worked very well for me in the field. Without other competing wifi, my iPhone Xr held a stable wifi connection to the camera and the app worked flawlessly. - I love that I was able to plug the camera into a battery pack between uses while in the field. Without a replaceable battery, I was worried that the battery would be depleated before the training exercise was completed. - I use cameras in rather tough environments and love that this camera is IPX5 level waterproof (rain-proof and dust-proof). - While I strongly dislike vertical video for most things, I appreciate that this camera can change from landscape to portrait via the on-camera button or the app. - I don't have to take the camera off of my head to make changes, take pictures, stop/start video, etc. The voice prompts let me know when I've hit the right (or wrong) button. What I don't like: - If I ever use it on an action camera mount, then I won't be able to hear the voice indicators via the little speaker. - I wish the zoom function worked more smoothly. Every time you push the zoom in or zoom out buttons on the app the zoom level jumps in or out in a way that doesn't look good on playback. - The 2nd time I tested this camera at home it locked up and stopped responding. No amount of button pushing or button holding would get it working. I had to let the battery die overnight, then restart it to get it working again. It worked perfectly through a whole day of use in the field. But that one lock-up was always on my mind. ... show more

    • Great wearability
I don’t think the advertisement tells you a good description of what the actual wearability of this camera is—does it go around your neck, your ear, or your forehead? The answer is that it is only as big as your ear and could maybe fit around your wrist (but uncomfortably so), and for that reason, it sits at about eye level. Because this is perfect for eye level, I’d say that the quality is about that good. The camera quality, when downloaded onto a computer or iPhone for editing purposes, is quite impressive. It has a wider lens than I expected and captures quite a bit of the world around me. I use this for vlogging bike rides and cooking (as per the content for my online presence) and it captures more than I see even with the naked eye. Plus it is hands-free?! This is perfect for content creation, especially because you aren’t even interrupted by a tripod or external fixture. Additionally, the setup and download are super easy to do. It is all written out clearly in the instructions and lets you follow along step by step to see how this can connect to any device via wifi or USB cable. The headpiece itself is adjustable and you can make it fit any person which is great if you have a team of creators like me. I have bought this as a gift for many people on my team now and it is the perfect addition to the workplace!     • Good--with one exception!
I would love this if you could mount it on a helmet! I found it hard to keep on my head and keep it aimed at the object/scene that I want to record--especially when moving. Staying stationary it was fine.
