Winch works ok until it breaks. Warranty is garbage. Case broke on mine, they are blaming me for not tightening all the bolts for the feet. What a joke. I take great pride in all the work I do and always recheck bolts for proper tightening. The foot bolts were still tight when I removed the broken pieces. If they decide to make good on their warranty I will repost. They came thru after I posted this review. They did send me a new winch. Still taking away a star for this. ... show more

I pull non running backhoes and hevy equipment on to my gooseneck trailer with this and most of the equipment is over 16000 pounds and has no problem at all pulling it up the trailer I would highly recommended getting this

Got for Christmas, easy to install on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler, but just now got to try it today, I buried my 4 wheel drive tractor up to the axils, my father-n-law ford 6 wheel drive wouldn’t budge it. So I thought let’s try my never tested winch. After tying the Jeep rear to a tree,and running the winch cable out to almost its full length (that goodness for the 100’ cable). The winch didn’t even strain, also a plus was the wireless remote that kept me out of harm’s way. Would recommend this winch to anyone. Even my skeptical father-n-law was impressed. I liked the winch, it was pretty nice. Install is easy but wiring has NO room on a Gladiator. It will push up against your grill and I hope it does not mess mine up from vibration! The wiring goes in that direction, no other choice. Works pretty well especially for the money. My only complaint and warning outside of the wiring for anybody buying one is watch out for it having a mind of it's own. I have on a few occasions come out from my house to see the rope extended to point it is almost dragging the ground. The lever was either in neutral, or engaged (retract rope). I was working on my wife's Jeep and it did it while I was out there. Once again, I try to reset it and leave it as is. The next time I notice the difference, the stopper on the line is being eaten by the winch plate!! Glad I had the stopper, but not happy it was destroyed and I almost could not get it out of the whole. I have since then bought a power switch so I can remove all power from the winch. Been one for 2 days and not moved at all. Even after I put the switch on it did not move with the winch in operational mode. So I feel much better about the rope just coming out by itself. ... show more

Just finished installing it, works from the quick test I did, will hopefully try it out this weekend. I was originally not happy as it was advertised to have a winch cover bag but it was apparently an error on the vendors side. The updated the site as this model didn't come with the bag but they made good on it and credited me the cost of a bag. The negatives are not something that the vendor can control maybe, the screws that hold the winch on are a bit short if you use the lock screws and washers so I had to get tad longer ones and the positive cable that goes to the battery was barely long enough. We made it but it was tight. If allowed I will update after testing it on the trails. ... show more

    • Buy some stainless steel aircraft quality wire rope and replace it.
The winch itself works fine, the cable or wire rope was very poor quality and after a couple pulls it was coming all unwound and had some bad kinks .

I love this winch !!!! I installed it on my car trailer but after about 15 tow jobs ...the trailer is sitting in my driveway unloaded and the winch will start for a second then stop it being doing it all night!!! I am just wondering if my wifi in my house is turn it on and off ????? Both remotes are far away from operating the winch still kicks on an off........anyone else have seen this before????? ... show more

This is a great affordable winch! I purchased it for my 2007 Silverado and couldn't be any happier with the service, delivery and quantity of the winch. It came with everything you need to bolt it all up and get going. I installed a second battery and larger alternator. Like all winches, I would not recommend running it for over a minute at the time. But it seems to be working exactly like I want it to so far and Amazon really knows how to run a business. ... show more
