In advance of applying the vinyl I used a steam cleaner to clean the surfaces of the NEW number plates, I then utilized RapidTack and set the backgrounds followed by squeegee and then a heat gun on low just enough to add tension to the vinyl. I purchased this vinyl March 2018 and made stickers for my car and by August they started chipping and sun fading; now they look terrible! This is quite a disappoint considering Oracle boasts about the vinyl lasting several years outdoors when for me it didn't even last 6 months.

    • Thin, wears through easily, but it sticks... mostly
Quite thin so its hard to get it to lay down nicely, it stretches but will wrinkle and show if you go too far. Also wears through pretty easily, a couple relatively low speed dumps in deep sugar sand on my dirt bike and it had some holes worn in it... But its serving its purpose.

Vinyl was bubbled up when I opened it. When I took the tape off the roll, it pulled some of the vinyl with it, ended up wasting about 4 inches of it because of that. Had this same problem with all of the Oracal 651 vinyl I bought, and I will never buy it again.

The vinyl is fine but it comes without any protection nor boxing as shown in the product image... the sticker for the vinyl info is stuck right on top of the vinyl whixh makes us loose about 3” of the product and since is not in a box it comes all bended and scratch and there goes another 3” and all of one side ... show more

    • Not 6' false advertisements!!
I'm am so upset!! This was only 5'5" long. If you say its going to be 6' it should be 6', not short. This is really ridiculous!!

    • Not user friendly
This product is not easy to weed and most of my letters did not cut. I used the vinyl setting that I use on my other products and even tried bold letters but nothing helped. And like mentioned prior the sticker needs to be placed someplace else bc you have to cut off that part.
