The Onyx General Purpose vest features classic open sided styling at an affordable price. Quick release buckles and 1" belts provide a secure fit. These vests are U.S. Coast Guard approved. Available in infant, child, youth, adult universal and adult oversize to outfit the entire family, and bright colors to add visibility on the water. The Adult Universal vest fits chest sizes of 30" - 52", and over 90 lbs and Oversize vest fits chest sizes of 40" - 60", and over 90 lbs.

This is a replacement for the identical item I purchased with my new vest. My vest got wet because I left it in the uncovered boat during a rain event...oops! Expensive mistake on my part. The vest was activated by the water but did not dissolve completely because it was only a small amount of water. I took the disc and got it soaking wet to see if it would dissolve and it did. So I know it works. I will say when re-arming the green "ready to go" button does not appear until the cartridge is screwed into the vest. This being my 1st time with it I didn't know what to expect but I just followed the instructions and it worked perfect. ... show more
