Description

The ONYX outdoor mesh classic sport vest is available in sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL or 4XL. A comfortable vest providing fit and function, it has mesh shoulders and back for maximum air flow, with adjustable belts to keep vest from riding up. The lightweight design is made with a durable polyester outer shell and poly-twill inner shell. A D-ring has been added for attaching small accessories. This vest is filled with durable flotation foam, keeping your comfort in mind.

Should have listened to the other reviews and ordered two sizes bigger then normal. I ordered it one size bigger and when it came it was way to small. I called and talked to the internet sales rep for the store I ordered it from and he was VERY helpful I returned the PDF and he sent one out bigger. When that one came it fit but was still a little tight. It will definitely work but I would have liked a little bit more room. ORDER A SIZE UP! Saw reviews that said it was a perfect fit. I measured myself but I’ll need a bigger size when I go duck hunting. The size will work but it’s a pretty tight fit with all my gear on. Product quality is excellent; however as others have noted it runs really small. Ordered XL for 47" chest can just barely buckle it and then it is super tight!!! The life jacket is fine but it’s at least 2 sizes smaller than labeled. If you keep that in mind you’ll be happy with it. But can’t give it a good review with how far off the sizing is. Durability etc is great though.

I had 4 of these that I bought in 2016. I really liked them, and had one XL, two 2x's and one 3x. They ran small. I always used the 3x, with a 47" chest. I Iost my 3x and ordered a new one. When I received it, it didn't come close to fitting, although it should be able to adjust to 56". Unlike all the old ones I had, this one had the straps stitched to the front panels, and the straps did not slide through loops on one front panel to adjust like all the other ones I had. It also had only two straps, compared to three on the old ones. I wanted to have matching PFDs so I returned it and ordered a 4x. The 3x was obviously a defective design and/or manufacture. I tried to contact the vendor but they blew me off when I tried to explain the defect. I guess they don't have any quality control on Hencho en Chene made products. ... show more

I like this for 2 reasons. It has mesh over the shoulders for added comfort and it is not bulky around the middle. This is for my wife and and all the other vests we looked at had all kinds of extra cargo space out front and at both sides.
