Bought these for kayaking and they are much cooler and more comfy than full vests. They do have Coast Guard approval which is IMPORTANT to us for praying they work if needed to! The pull cord is very close to the buckle on the right side so be cautious when putting it on! These were more cost effective than others and had good reviews. I like the pink color so no one of the guys should steal mine 😂. They make kayaking so much more comfy with the thinner format compared to bulky vests. ... show more

Have used it, but not had to "use" it yet. I did inflate it by mouth when I first got it and let it sit for 24 hours to ensure it held air, which it did. I believe it would work to keep me safe if it was needed. Deflating is not as simple as you would think and does require a bit of work. The folding instructions were helpful. The only negative is the loop in the back that the belt goes through. It would have been nicer if it was a bit longer. I am a big guy at 5'9" and 235#. the loop in the back hits about half way down and that means the belt sits a bit weird. NOT like is pictured. When we went kayaking recently, we did notice that they were a lot lighter than the last paddle jackets we had and that was nice. ... show more

I needed one more life jacket/ vest for safety on the boat. This one seems to be of very good quality and is well made. It fits nicely, looks nice and is a good value for the quality. It is also Coast Guard approved, which is a plus. Perfect.

Comfortable & comforting to wear while boating. I'm not a swimmer, so when fishing with family, it gives peace of mind to me & my family. I had no desire to have to wear one of those bulky PFD's while trying to cast. This fills the bill. Automatic deployment without action on my part. Video tests show this vest to turn you face up in case of being knocked unconscious & landing in the water. Not the case with some of the other types of PFD'S. Well built & allows good ventilation, so no sweating issue! Should the vest deploy, it's easily recharged with a readily available kit that includes all necessary parts & instructions. ... show more
