  • Great tablet for everyday use
I have other Onn tablets and I really like them. Easy to set up ad great to use. This was such a a great price, so I ordered it and I am not disappointed. It is super nice, great screen quality, fast response, and does everything I wanted it for. The tablet is sleek, thin, and lightweight. It has more than enough storage and the battery lasts a long time. I am happy to have it ... show more

  • All expectations exceeded
I assume these were buyer's remorse returns to Walmart because mine was pristine except for the outside of the box being a bit beat up and not packed like something from the factory. At full retail price these are worth it. For about half price these are steals especially if you are looking for a tablet for media consumption, casual we browsing, social media viewing and email. Do not get this off you are expecting a full on gaming tablet or a laptop replacement but for most users this will be well with the purchase. Bright, clear screen, good battery life quick responses etc. Everything you'd want for under $100. I had the previous year's model with the mediatek processor and the snapdragon processor or better fine tuning seems to have improved a good experience to a great one. ... show more

  • It seems to be brand new! Excellent Condition.
I love this tablet, it is such a wonderful deal- mine came in excellent condition! The same tablet on Walmart's site is $157 dollars right now, I mean there is no scratch on it, screen is large, and it runs as smooth as can be. I am very surprised with how lightweight and fast it is. The screen is crisp, the battery life is wild, and the speakers are nice. I've only had it a little while and I will update if something goes wrong in the near future, but if you are looking for the review to tell you to persuade you to buy it, its meeee I am that review. ... show more

  • Fine product
Works as it should. Mine was refurbished but looked brand new. Good value for money.

  • Perfect light use tablet
This tablet is the best for the price. Long battery life and good enough for light use like surfing the internet or watching tv shows. Only thing is it doesn’t get Android upgrades.

  • Don’t buy
This has happened to me twice now and I’m done. I’m returning both. No matter how many times I try, it will not update. It just keeps going in circles saying ‘update available, restart now,’ then right back to the same message. Total waste of time and money.

  • Good for the price, but not good period. Has limitations that more expensive tablets don't.
As the title says, this is a good tablet for the price (especially refurbished) but it's not a good tablet period. For that you'd have to shell out extra for an equivalent Lenovo Tablet or something. The processor is "pretty good" but can only run non-demanding games. 4GB of ram is only barely enough. If you try to multitask by swapping away from a demanding app or game, when you switch back to that app/game it'll have to reload from scratch because the tablet had to throw the entire thing out of memory to run the other thing you looked at, even if it wasn't a very demanding app. 64GB of storage (of which only 47GB is available) isn't much nowadays, especially since this tablet doesn't allow you to use a fast MicroSD card as adoptable storage. Not even the A2 "application ready ver. 2" rated MicroSD cards which are made to be used as storage specifically for apps. And to add insult to injury, I wasn't even able to used ADB (android debug bridge) to access this tablet in developer mode to enable adoptable storage either. Expect to be able to install maybe 2 games along with a handful of apps before all your storage is gone. 128 and / or adoptable storage should be the standard nowadays. Also, the screen is a bit dim and yellow tinted. 60% on this tablet is 50% on any other good tablet. Plus, the touchscreen is a little bit laggy and insensitive. Not enough to really ruin the experience, but just enough to slow you down and make you notice that it's not as good as even a cheap Galaxy tab. The yellow tint isn't all that bad, but I did notice it with black and white images like when reading manga. And the screen brightness really isn't a problem indoors, but it could be a problem outdoors if it's too bright. None of these are dealbreakers to me, and I'm still satisfied with this tablet for the price I got for it, but I can see why they'd have so many returns / refurbished tablets to sell in the first place as "renewed". Tablet snobs WOULD probably return these, especially if they paid full price. I'm not a tablet snob however, so I'm keeping mine, because it's good enough for what I use it for, which is reading articles and comics, watching videos, and playing not particularly demanding games. I will say that the battery life is good, and basically what's advertised, which is surprising. The resolution and pixel density are good too, along with the screen size. Much better than trashy 1280 x 800 10"+ tablets that can't render text clearly. That said, the camera on the back is trash, but it does have a flash (useful as a flashlight) and it's better than having no camera at all. Overall, I'd say it's a good value for many people, especially people who don't have demanding needs, and aren't tablet snobs. Onn is the tablet brand that's the cheapest you can generally go without getting total crap, while still having case / screen protector / aftermarket support. I'm keeping mine and am generally happy with it, but wish that Onn would increase the RAM to 6gb, the storage to 128gb, and enable adoptable storage. If you're okay with this tablet's limitations, I'd say it's a safe buy. Otherwise, I would say that the best "bang for the buck" tablets are made by Lenovo right now. Features on par with or better than Samsung tablets, but at a noticeablylower price. ... show more

  • Basically brand new!
While refurbished, this was essentially brand new. Once I did all the updates and factory reset it (I always do this), it was snappy and worked perfectly. Battery was fully drained when I got it, but it was fully charged in 2 hours. It even came with the original box, charger, cable, manuals, and ejector pin. Very happy! ... show more
