I found them mostly easy to assemble. The only difficult part was removing the pole cap. They are very tight and do not just pull off. We had to resort to using a screwdriver and mallet to carefully chisel them off. Once together, they are very nice. They go very well with my small counter-height table. ... show more

These barstools are elegant and classy. Four will fit well underneath an extended bar area. The only issue is the wood is very delicate. So, the sides of the barstools will chip easily when hitting or rubbing against the bar granite.
