Wood came in dimensions explains in description. Allowed me to make a craft for Mother’s Day. The wood will absorb a sloght amount of paint or marker, so be prepared when making decisions about the volume needed for the media.

Bought these boards for a project to create some event mementoes for friends, but this was not the right thickness of wood for that, but, when I opened the package I was impressed with the consistency and finish. So, it sat for a while until I had an idea for a small bowl/tray project on my CNC, so I pulled out one of these boards. They are so light and soft (reminds me of my balsa plane modeling days as a child) I was not sure, but I tried it anyway, and I was floored how well it held up to the bowl bit and the end mills. You don't want to cut too thin (i.e., with lettering/engraving), otherwise it will chip out, and the edge where holding tabs are left can be a bit fragile, and tear off, so it's better to arrange the project to cut though 100%. On the other hand, you can cut it very fast (at least fast for me and my desktop 3040T CNC). It take a wiping stain very well, and take to oiling even better! Once I started with it, I've almost run through the bundle with some quick ideas. See the pix of oiled tray examples. They are so light, they are like nothing in your hand. But, they are drop (accidently) tested and survived. I have another bundle sitting in the cart as I type, and I expect to buy even more.

it worked! Just be careful because the wood is quite light, as it’s paulownia wood. It’s strong though once all put together (I made a phone stand with a little shelf) It can be stained as well, I used a grey stain. It cut fine under a circular saw. I got this before I really knew anything about the wood, I probably wouldn’t use it for this type of thing again but it’d definitely be great for little crafts and painting on
