My hips are hard to shop for. My waist is considerably smaller. 38-35-52, 5’6, 210lbs. I ordered the 3x and it fits well enough to not be falling off, but loose enough that I don’t feel squeezed in and I can take them off easily without untying them. Might sound weird, but whatever that’s what I like about the fit. I can carry phone, keys, and a kitten in the pockets. These are all GREAT pockets. I’m ordering it again in two other colors. Size chart was a great help in picking out my size. I’ve washed and dried twice and they didn’t shrink.

Super comfy material and pretty material, but runs very small – – I would say size up times two. The other negative is that the waistband is the elastic and is not stabilized so it flips and twists.

I am 5’10” and weigh between 185-195 lbs. My hips are 47” my waist is 35”, I purchased 3XL and they fit like a dream. The fabric is so comfortable. It does go out a bit, but just on the sides, they fit good on my butt, not baggy. There are also pockets on the hips and on the butt!

Hello! I'm 5 ft nothing and about 140 lb, currently. First, I ordered the medium and I found them quite tight but also baggy, and, as others have said, the elastic kept flipping and being a pain. I liked the shorts, so I cut out the elastic :-) After that, they were huge! I can tie them up with the drawstring, but that's a hassle and they were very baggy still. Looking at the pictures, I felt like a smaller size would fit my body better, but I knew the elastic would be way too tight. I ordered the small with the intention of cutting out the elastic, but after receiving them, I find the small actually fit me better. They are less tight in the elastic waistband and not baggy! I could snip the elastic for a little more comfort, but they actually fit really well now. I do have a very small frame, but I've been wearing about a size 10 lately. I will be returning the others as defective :-)
