Who ever said this wasn’t the best backdrop stand is lying!!!! I read reviews before I buy anything. I’ve seen the videos, and still took a chance on buying this set ! When I say, this has made my business a plus !!! It did. Not only did the base plate had two holes for extra pins. Saved me the headache of worries to make a double layer in my drapes for a party that I had to do. Came with instructions about the parts. Man….. I can’t say enough about this. I just wish They have adjustable uprights for this price, but Hey….. not bad. Not bad at all. As you can see in the pictures that was the perfect height at 10 feet fixed. The person didn’t have 10 foot curtains at the right hand side; So I Couldn't cross the other curtains. Love this product !! Thank you guys so much!! :)

I have been using this pipe and drape set as a backdrop for live comedy shows for the past 2 years. This simple addition transforms a s***ty amateur bar show into a very professional looking amateur bar show. It disguises whatever clutter and distraction is behind the stage while evenly and perfectly capturing a spotlight. The result is a clean and professional looking show where the focus is on the performer. Prior to purchasing this set up I used to rent a pipe and drape from a local rental and would pay roughly $40-50 per show to have this. Even putting on shows infrequently this cost adds up and was quite frankly a pain in the ass. I purchased this pipe and drape for under $200 and within 5 shows it had paid for itself. I've since done countless shows and have gotten incredible value out of it. It has been used at friend's weddings as a picture background and at trade shows and other live events. It is incredibly versatile, durable, and long lasting. It's simple to set up and break down. Once broken down all the pieces will fit conveniently into any speaker stand/music stand tote. You'll just need to carry the floor stands separate. The curtains (3 panels) are well made. They've never ripped or even wrinkled, and they're dark enough to black out whatever is behind them. You can easily hang signs and banners from the top/cross pole to display sponsors, advertisements, etc. I'm writing this review now, years later, because I need to buy another one of these to accommodate more live events. My original is still going strong!

The good: I absolutely love that this pipe & drape kit will fit into my Jeep AND I can have a front passenger. I already have a double pole pipe & drape kit (10x10) but needed a 2nd kit for an upcoming wedding. The ability to break this new kit down into a size that is more easily portable is a game changer. My first kit extends from the back of the Jeep right up through the two front seats and makes it almost impossible to have a helper ride along with me to events. The not so good: The inability to adjust the height. Ug! I tried inverting the uprights so the crossbar will be placed at around 4' to allow me to hang the drapes, space them correctly, and add the valance while I could stand at floor level. Unfortunately, then trying to life the pipe filled with drapes was a disaster. Using a step stool proved fruitless..I still couldn't reach the hangers to place the drapes. So although a great idea and ease of transport, using a taller ladder for me is a safety issue (at almost 70yrs old) and just one more large item I have to transport to venues. I'm definitely going to work on a way to cut slats in the pipe to lower it then raise it up from that level to the top fully loaded with drapes.....or sell the thing...lol!

True, I purchased this last fall and should have assembled it then, but I checked to be sure all the parts were present. What I could NOT check was whether all the parts were correct. The weather here finally was nice enough to take the kit out to assemble it in my yard, but two pieces are incorrect and don't assemble and one side of the crossbar's hook is embedded, so useless. Too late to return and a real hassle. Wasted money. And the WRITTEN instructions were blah. Checking the video instructions only work if you have the right parts. I can say the bases are strong and heavy.
