    • Snap-On JC23 creeper wheel replacement

The only thing I think the manufacture should revisit on the engineering side is making the "nut" at least 1/8", maybe 3/16" taller so a wrench would have the room to fit on the nut, between it and the mounting surface while tightening the assembly. This would lower the wheel away from the mounting surface so the user would not have to use adjustable pliers on the completely round ball bearing housing to tighten the assembly. Doesn't matter if these wheels were going on this creeper or any other flat metal sub straight, the issue is the same. The original Snap-On bearing housing was engineered in a hex layout to accommodate putting a wrench on it without any possibility of distortion. Not the greatest design, but since the Snap-On dealer wouldn't warranty the wheels like they use too, the cost savings for the creeper to be useable again works. We'll see about the longevity, but we all know they're made in China, so I'm not holding my breath. ... show more

I ordered this product to replace worn out caster wheels on my car creeper. After opening the box, I found one of the six wheels outside its plastic sleeve. The nut was not threaded on and loose in the box. No big deal. However, the washer that was on all the other wheels was missing. I hoped it was also in the box, but no luck. A drive to the nearest hardware store to buy one was not what I had planned! Once installed, the wheels have been really good so far. ... show more
