I use this by the fireplace. I like to sit closer than our furniture allows and this does the trick. I'm 5', 100lbs and it supports me just fine, no issues there. The bottom cushion is pretty good, but after much use, my small boney butt leaves imprints. Not a problem at this time, I just shift. For me, this is where it will wear out. Comfortable seating for all. Under 5’5 or short torso, and the backrest at all angles is great. Over 5’5” and it is limited value. This brings us to “lightweight” which is a relative term. For smaller, younger or users that term may not apply well. Not heavy, but not lightweight either.
